Sorry, it was too long ago to remember anything but the advise of make multiple copies of your license and put the original in a safe. Even if you do, it's painless I've talked to a couple people over the years that did. You can request to do it at the field office instead of your home...basically they'll just look at your bound book. Unless you're selling for profit, you got no worries.
