TSprague
I have a Suzuki TL1000R and during my first ride of the year my bike started showing the F1 code. Ive been told that I need to have my fuel injecters re-mapped but not sure if its something I can do on my own or if someone on here might be able to help. Thanks for any response

max power
maybe DTM Brian will chime in and be able to help you out. In the meantime, I'd check all fuel injection electrical connections and grounds.
Disclaimer
I don't have a TL service manual, but does it have a dealer-mode where it'll blink or bring up codes on the dash? That might help at least narrow down the problem.
gixxie750
Yea it has a dealer mode. Once you get the code then u will know what the problem is.
TSprague
The battery is new and it runs for a second with starter fluid, just until the starter fluid burns off. I just don't want to pay a Suzuki deal a ton of money to remap it in two seconds lol
TSprague
The flux capacitor is new as well lol
Jst2fst
Maybe DTM-Brian can help him with the mapping.
gixxie750
kill switch, kickstand switch or tip over sensor. Do u have a power commander? Did u hook its ground wire up? Does the fuel pump prime when you turn it on?
TSprague
No power commander, kickstand switch is good and the fuel pump clicks on but it debt hum but I don't remember it doing that to start with. I wonder if I take it to a dyno, if they could remap it for me.
