I'm taking my time and finding stuff at the cheapest price or on sale. If I bought everything retail I would be looking at 2200 possibly? But keep in mind its going to be purpose built. My goal was 700 yards and we took its twin out and smacked steel at 845 yards so I'm saying mission accomplished... well as soon as I finish it I'm pretty sure mine was $2200-2300 before glass. With 556 pressure rounds with 77gr SMK's, I think we can stretch that usable range out to at least 950 if not 1000. My scope has 9 mils of adjustment up from zero, 850 was 8.4 mils and right on the edge of it being transonic. In theory, we could squeezean extra 150-200 fps out of the higher pressure round, no idea how that'll work in practice. Not bad for a 600 yard gun.
