Scruit
http://abclocal.go.com/wpvi/story?section=news/local&id=8247831EASTON, Pa. - July 13, 2011 (WPVI) -- A former New Jersey police officer is facing vehicular homicide charges in the deaths of two motorcycle club members he allegedly struck while driving drunk in Pennsylvania. Story says he was drunk and his pickup veered into the oncoming lane and hit the bikers head-on. They had no chance. I hate how they say "his pickup veered into the wrong lane". Like the pickup did it against his will. Tell it like it is, please: "He drove into the oncoming lane."On top of all that, the riders were attending a funeral. A horrible situation all round. The DUI driver's list of charges looks like they just photocopied the driver's law book and told the judge; "All of the above".Heaney is charged with two counts each of homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence, involuntary manslaughter, four counts each of aggravated assault by vehicle, aggravated assault by vehicle while driving under the influence, ecklessly (sic) endangering another person and numerous counts of careless driving and related offenses, according to court documents.
