mojocho
For those who change their own tires, what do you do with the old ones? I really don't want to deal with trying to sell them. not much tread and don't want to deal with random people on CL.Not really at the point in my life to make a garden plant pot with them... mgbgt89
Keep them if they're decent. Trash if they aren't. I'm not going to deal with CL types for a 10 dollar used tire. Occasionally a friend needs a tire, and i hook them up for a beer.If you ever ice race, you can cut the sidewalls off and stick the carcass inside another tire to protect the tube from bolt in studs, thats what i'll be doing with some of mine this winter. Siacono
Trash will take them if you cut them up, but the proper way to dispose of them would be to take them to a tire shop and pay the $2-$3 disposal fee....
standout
I work at a dealership and just put them in with our junk automotive tires. If u weren't so far away I would take them for u.
mojocho
ok. For $3, I'll take them to a tire shop. That's not too bad. Not that I'm a treehuggin green giant, but no sense in making things worse.
