Looking to find someone that can help with welding that's not going to charge me an arm, leg, and soul (if I had one). Anybody have any references? Gixxer_Jim Posted August 16, 2011 Author Report Share Posted August 16, 2011 it's either take the existing subframe (which I've already chopped to fit seat) and try to fit seat, tail, and mount brackets. OR get on ebay, buy an 08 r6s subframe, and weld that to the bike. Cash flow is not exactly on my side right now so the cheapest way to go about doing this would probably be best.
