PrincessPratt
OK so I thought I would post this on here to get some "other" opinions. I don't know if this is the appropriate place to post this but o'well. Anyhoo, I just purchased a new SUV yesterday. Finally got rid of that darn depreciating Jetta. Woohoo!! I need to get a trailor to haul my bike. I want an open bed. Does anyone have any suggestions about brand, type, size, etc. etc. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. NinjaNick
Hey PP, pick up a trader magazine that will have some trailers in it. I'm sure you'll find something there. I need one myself.
NinjaNick
Or get a plain trailer, add wood to the floor, wheel chock, tiedowns and you'll have a cheap one.

If you already have ramps for your quad then you just answered your own question. To be honest, if your going to be hauling a quad as well then you will not want the motorcycle rail as wit will proably end up being a pain in the ass when you load the quad... Just buy a motorcycle chock..

If your going to be hauling a quad, dont by the motorycycle rail as it may just get in your way when the quad is on. Just buy a motorcycle chock. They are cheaper anyway.. I think harbor freight has them for about $40http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=96349http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=97145
Chrisoh
I know they are pricey, but the best thing you can get to haul your bike is a Baxley Sport Chock. http://www.baxleycompanies.com/Chocks.htmlJust bolt it to the trailer floor put two straps in the back pulling it forward into the Chock then just two straps on the bars with just enough tension to make the forks move a hair. Or if the baxley has the ring on it just a strap around the front is good.

Chrisoh
+1http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=9634939.99 Doesnt have to be perfect.. Just has to work..Only bad part about that one is if it moves around enough in the Chock it will warp the Rotors (FLOUNDER) since the bar is above the rotors.Does the back part lock or does it just rest? Also the nice thing about the Baxley is it actually squeezes the tires. So the $$ you save in not replacing warpped Rotors (right FLOUNDER) would almost pay for the chock, and the cost of having your forks re-done if you blow a fork seal with out a chock will pay for the chock. Also you can use them in the garage or at the track, last few sessions of the day if you are by yourself you can pull into the Chock, get off, put your rear stand on and pull it out of the chock with the rear stand. then pop it up on the front and put MY warmers on
