Anybody interested in riding Thurs or Friday or Saturday from Columbus?

I have a route in mind that I have ridden a couple times this year and I enjoy it. Lots of sweeping curves some tight corners and great scenery.

I'm thinking 161 to Newark to 79 North to Nellie. Then 715 West (great road) to 36. Take 36 to 62 at Millwood where we can grab gas and food and then take 62 South back to 161 and home.

It's probably 150 to 200 miles and can be done in a few hours. I can ride a whatever pace is comfortable for everyone else. Fast or Slow.

I'm in Reynoldsburg but I can meet somewhere Central for everyone. We can make a short pit stop on 79 in Heath if that helps you out Hutch.

I can do Friday or Saturday but I imagine Saturday would work best for those that work.

And c'mon Bkizz it's an awesome 150 miles. I'll go ride the route tomorrow and get an exact number but it's not bad. The roads are the best I've seen in Ohio and the scenery is great. The curves and elevation changes around the dam on 715 are unlike any other road I've been on.

If you want to ride the route with me Friday Joey, I'm down.

Sorry guys. I had a family emergency and I couldn't get online.

I am meeting Joey at the shell on 256 and 70. I was thinking like noon. We'll ride the route. Anybody else wants to come is welcome.

Then we can do it again Saturday. I can ride both days and I know the roads well. Any problems just mention them and we can make adjustments. Sorry again for the late response....I was going crazy not being able to reply.

Joey: Won't let me reply to your pm. Says I can only message once every 120 mins, which isn't very helpful. Lol

Ah gotcha.....will 10a be alright? I know it takes less than 5 hours for the trip. Probably more like 3 1/2.

Alright guys

The plan as it is now is to meet at the Shell (McDonalds adjoins it) at 256 and 70 at 10am on Friday.

I plan to ride Saturday also to get all of the riding in I can before the snow flies. So same plan for Saturday other than maybe a route change. I have been wanting to go South so I will do some research on a Southern route of about the same length for Saturday. Adjustments can be made for anyone interested in going Saturday. Post any time/ location concerns and we'll see what we can coordinate. I will also post an exact trip mileage tomorrow after we get back.
