idodishez
Finally got a chance to shoot it today. (picked it up used a few months ago). Didn't have new targets w me, so didnt get a real good feel for accuracy (mine or guns). But while I love the smaller size for a CCW, I'm not sure I want this to be my default. Must have had 5 or so FTF, (out of no more than 50 rounds). Not sure if that's a fault of the LCP, or the ammo. Then there's the size. It's just too small (apparently some guys have this issue). My trigger finger actually got abrasions on it from hitting the trigger guard. So maybe that's a sign this gun is just too damn small for me. So much for an easy to conceal CCWI really wanted to like this gun
Sniper_308
I like mine, and have no issues. Do you have big hands?

MidgetTodd
Yep, how much you gonna sell it for now?
Pokey
That is strange, mine has been 100% flawless with "anything" I have fed it. Yes it is a snappy lil gun, but very accurate for what it is. The feed ramp may need polished a bit, and no this isnt a gun you want to shoot allot with in the same day. kawi kid
You might be limp wristing it. Grip that bitch like a gorilla hanging onto his banana.
idodishez
I don't have girl hands, no. Also don't have fat hands. I wear a size 12 shoe if that tells you anything. (hand/feet/dick correlation). Don't think I was limp wristing it, but who knows. just seems like my finger is too big for trigger guard. Haven't necessarily decided to sell it just yet. Might take to range again just to be sure. Or may get a better feel at the upcoming class w Chief. But I'm also open to taking any offers. Tpoppa
All the ultralight pocket .380s are a compromise. There's just not enough mass to cycle as reliably as a Glock, M&P, or <insert your kick ass gun here>. They're too small to get a comfortable grip...but light enough to be in your pocket when you need it Out of curiousity what ammo were you using? idodishez
Just realized this was a 50 ct box, not 100. So that means I had 5 or so FTF out of 25+, not 50+ rounds. Not a good ratio.

You said this was used, any idea how many rounds have been fired? If it's beyond the normal break in period, you may want to send it back to Ruger for repair. There was a recall on early LCPs. idodishez
Recall has been done as per fellow OR that I bought it from. Have no reason not to trust him
MidgetTodd
Your grip is wrong too, only supposed to have the tip of your finger on the trigger. You've got your whole finger thru there, that will cause the fit problem you talked about plus that affects accuracy because you tend to pull the gun to the side when you pull the trigger with you finger all the way across. Practice just the tip.
ross
I would have to say that the LCP is just too damn small for his hands.Your grip is wrong too, only supposed to have the tip of your finger on the trigger. Practice just the tip.The subject on grip and finger placement is a very opinionated subject. We could discuss this all day but there would be no way for me to steer the thinking of a firearms master (like yourself) in a direction towards a different path. crb
Recall performed and less than two hundred down the pipe when I sold it. I always thought it kicked like a mule for its size, it would sting my hand.
idodishez
Figured someone would say something about my finger placement. Yes, I am aware and conscious of the "fingertip" rule. I'll just have to try it again and play around with it some more. Try some different ammo maybe
kawi kid
Do you shoot isosceles or Weaver?
idodishez
I actually did both. Kind of prefer weaver though
