blue03636
Does anyone have one for a motorcycle that I could borrow? My cylinder head is off, just waiting on the valve seals to show up, could have it back to you within a day of them showing.
r1crusher
So the issue was seals and not rings?
blue03636
The issue was really neither but I have it apart so I guess I will change them.

jhaag
check with autozone/advance autoparts they rent tools for cost and give a full refund once you bring it back. hence, free. you should be able to make something they have work. i used one of their spring compressors for my tl once. jporter12
I have one of these somewhere:http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item.asp?P65=&tool=&item_ID=78777&group_ID=1578&store=snapon-store&dir=catalogI used it last year for swapping valves around in my VF500 and it works really well. I was very surprised! If I can dig it up, you're welcome to borrow it, but I'm not exactly close to you.
