idodishez
Is there a way to convert a regular .pdf into the format that allows entering text in the fields? I know it can't be saved, but I do know such a thing exists as I have had them sent to me. I Just don't know if it can be done on my end. I'm filling out a job app, and would much rather have it type written than in my sloppy handwriting. NoBama 2012
Steve Butters
arent PDFs pretty much an image? if thats the case, theres no physical field on them...you could have to somehow convert it into an editable image and then add text boxes or something, like in photoshopi dont know that for sure, but thats how i always assumed it worked
jester3681
Some .pdfs are editable to print, like you're describing. Some are not. I think if it is, it is, and if it's not, it's not. Sorry I couldn't help more than that...

Casper
You need Acrobat Pro. It's called a form. Look for the "forms wizard".http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobatpro/create-fillable-pdf-forms.html

crb
I have printed out forms and then rescanned them and used publisher or other program to insert text boxes, it can be a lengthy process.
