alienpi
I've had antenna tv for the last 3 years. It looks great (HD) on the plasma screen, and there's no monthly fee!I have channels 2-1 HD, 7-1HD, 7-2 (weather), 22-1, 22-2 (Cool TV), 26-1HD, 45-1 (Fox), 45-2 (This- Old movies). I like to listen to my audio system if I'm relaxing in the living room, so tv is kind of a secondary thing.

mgbgt89
I own a small 13 inch tv to play xbox on. It hasn't been plugged in in over a year. Never had cable on my own, and quit regular TV when the digital changeover happened.
drc32-0
Why would I have cable...I got rid of my T.V. in 2006.I went to California and lived on the bike and camped for two months and when I got back I decided I didn't need a T.V.For the most part it's just social engineering anyway.I don't have internet either,I go to the library for that. When I'm home I listen to music or read.Hey Will....I think I've finally found the sweet spot for the Magnepans. They sound great on acoustic stuff, but I think I'll keep the old CV's around for the harder(louder) stuff. alienpi
When I'm home I listen to music or read.Hey Will....I think I've finally found the sweet spot for the Magnepans. They sound great on acoustic stuff, but I think I'll keep the old CV's around for the harder(louder) stuff.I'm glad you're enjoying them. They really do take some time to figure out the sweet spot. Your idea about the NAD C272s ran as mono blocks has got me eyeing mono block amps and studio monitors. New system setup I've been eyeing; maybe in a couple years I'll get the funds.http://www.musicdirect.com/p-6909-ciaudio-d-100b-monoblock-power-amp-pr.aspxhttp://reference3a.com/mmdecapo.htmhttp://www.musicdirect.com/p-257-audioquest-king-cobra-interconnects-pr.aspxhttp://www.musicdirect.com/p-7375-nordost-baldur-speaker-cables-pr.aspx Edited November 10, 2011 by alienpi
