So, Apple tracking your location was a big deal? LOL

Apparently "Carrier IQ" can be uninstalled. I was a bit relieved to read that Verizon doesn't use it. ...And, the Nexus doesn't (shouldn't) have it. It's NOT part of android. It's a (carrier) app that runs on android.

It takes allot of configuration modification to remove or keep it from starting. Not something the average person would be comfortable doing. There are allot of potential implications to this software and we havent seen the last of this.

Apple involved as well.

Law enforcement and bureaucracies need to keep track of all people for there own good.

(without a warrant just a request)

Silly citizens can't be trusted to know where they are at all times.

This has happened so many times in the past it seems inevitable that it will become part of everyday life.
