magifesq Posted December 25, 2011 Report Share Posted December 25, 2011 Mobile Cycle Works in Ashley Ohio (just north of Delaware) - I sold him parts for years while I worked @ Cycle Search in Delaware (which is now shut down). His rates are reasonable - I took the 85 XR600 to him because after I rebuilt it, it ran and shifted fine, but smoked some. I wanted him to simply get it to stop smoking, put new tires on it, and put a new chain on it that I just bought. He discovered and discussed the problem of the smoking with me, identified a couple minor issues that needed addressed, found a major issue (rocker arm wearing out) stayed within budget, even shimmed up the front caliper and identified an issue I hadn't seen and discussed how I could fix it on my own, which I'll do on Monday.
