Disclaimer: I only mean by the trolling on internet site which are forum based would suck. However I don't think this will go over easy.

This would make for some boring internet sites.

I guess the constitution means nothing to Arizona especially the first amendment.... So you can be thrown in jail for annoying someone on the internet? I dont see this going over too well with the public... This is the reason for banhammers and mods... So how will porn sites be effected?

Considering harassment is still illegal if its happening on the net, this bill doesn't really solve anything. So if you use your 1st Amendment right to say something on the internet and someone doesn't click away and gets angry, you can get a misdemeanor. I don't see this passing in the least

A section from the proposed law:

It is unlawful for any person, with intent to terrify, intimidate, threaten, harass, annoy or offend, to use ANY ELECTRONIC OR DIGITAL DEVICE and use any obscene, lewd or profane language or suggest any lewd or lascivious act, or threaten to inflict physical harm to the person or property of any person.

The bolded part is way too broad; if the law's enacted and someone's charged with "being annoying", a half-decent attorney will get that tossed easy as pie.

I'm no Constitutional Law expert, but I think my First Amendment right to speak annoyingly trumps your right to not be annoyed (which doesn't exist). You're only entitled to "pursue happiness", not necessarily to achieve it...
