I had already tuned the bike to have an open airbox, I added some ammo boxes and naturally when to adjust the preload on the rear shock and found that the current airbox is in the way. I figure, this is no problem, I'll just run a pod filter. And then of course I had no where to put the battery, this is where a fabricator friend keith came in. He custom fabbed a steel battery box for me and it is totally BA. Here is the process in pics.So here we are starting off with a couple pics of the big old air box that is being replaced. And now onto a sheet of steel, the pod filter is in some future pics but is less interesting as it's just a universal uni filter The next 4 images are a short break to show what Keith really does, that's a custom cro-moly drag racing chassis and a 750 2 stroke 3 cylinder, check out those expansion chambers Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
