82packer
Just heard they were all from Muskegon, MI. A town about 20 miles from me. Still no names on local news. I work with and know many riders from the Muskegon area.

ScubaCinci
So much for safety in numbers. I wouldn't doubt that they find out that the driver was texting or otherwise occupied by something other than paying attention to the friggin' road. This saddens me. swingset
Sad... hard to imagine how some one could hit all of them.Formation riding. This is why it sucks balls. I haven't looked at the article, but I'd bet my paycheck it was a big group of cruisers.Even if they were dead stopped in a group, being too clustered is a recipe for disaster. If you're sitting there and at the last second see the impending wrecking ball coming, and you're in a big nest of bikes, you've left yourself no out, no escape route. Why some riders want to get all over each other like this baffles me. It's just poor riding. Edited June 1, 2012 by swingset

Gixxus Christ!
Same thing happened a few years ago in Ravenna. Guy in an SUV was searching the floor of his vehicle for a lighter, plowed through a group of bikes. I believe they were a group of earth dogs MC and their wives. A few died, many lost limbs. If they would publicly execute people for this kind of negligent homicide maybe drivers would pay attention.
