attentiongetter92
Just picked up a 2012 1kRR and am waiting to switch over to gp shift. With the new cbr, they finally gave us an electronic gear indicator and my question is, will this still function after I make the switch?ThanksD
blue03636
It will still work. The indicator doesn't run off of the shift linkage.

Every one I have ever seen is tach/speed based and never even deviates from the wiring harness let alone all the way down to the shift linkage. redkow97
Mine guesses the wrong direction until I release the clutch. Sometimes. I wouldn't foresee any problem though.
