ReconRat
Grabbed one. I was looking at those last year. But thought 200+ bucks was too much. The whisper barrel really isn't too effective , from what I've read. It's a cock to fire, not a CO2 cartridge. No real gases to suppress. But it's more than nothing. bandit12
Looks a lot like the one my cousin bought because he lives in town and the .22 attracts too much attention. He took out a mid sized groundhog that was terrorizing his garden with it at about 30 yards, one shot one kill, lol.
TSB67
Is it one pump or multiple? How accurate can that scope be if the barrel breaks like that?

ReconRat
My Crossman pistols are 10 pumps to fire. It's effective on smaller rodents at 5-6 pumps and quieter. Crossman is around 550fps?On the pistols, the handguard does the pumping, not the barrel.
C-bus
Shoulder pad only absorbs 74% of the recoil. I'm out

ReconRat
Dunno, I fired it unloaded at my sofa, and thought it was pretty quiet.Single cock, still not sure if it's air or spring. Get your scope on?I picked it up local FedX shop. The FedX crew was amused by the big box. They guessed pellet gun. I said, "either that or a really big knife". Gixxus Christ!
Tempting, I have a possum problem and my neighborhood is too congested and too many kids to use a .22 and get away with it....
