Fox news and the republicans fear mongering again! :)

Fox news at it again, well not really sounds like they are reporting the news

Investigators for an Arizona sheriff's volunteer posse have declared that President Barack Obama's birth certificate is definitely fraudulent.

Members of Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio's posse said in March that there was probable cause that Obama's long-form birth certificate released by the White House in April 2011 was a computer-generated forgery.

Now, Arpaio says investigators are positive it's fraudulent.

Mike Zullo, the posse's chief investigator, said numeric codes on certain parts of the birth certificate indicate that those parts weren't filled out, yet those sections asking for the race of Obama's father and his field of work or study were completed.

Zullo said investigators previously didn't know the meaning of codes but that the codes were explained by a 95-year-old former state worker who signed the president's birth certificate.

Zullo said a news reporter who has helped out in the probe let investigators listen in on an interview he concluded of the former state worker.

The Obama campaign declined to comment on Arpaio's allegations.

The Arizona Democratic Party says in a statement that Arpaio's investigation is intended to draw attention away from problems within his own agency, such as hundreds of sex-crimes cases that the sheriff's office failed to adequately investigate over a three-year period.

So-called "birthers" maintain Obama is ineligible to be president because, they contend, he was born in Kenya.

Hawaii officials have repeatedly confirmed Obama's citizenship.

Obama released a copy of his long-form birth certificate in an attempt to quell citizenship questions.

Courts have rebuffed lawsuits over the issue.

Obama's birth certificate a fake :dunno:

Is ABC fear mongering too?

Doesn't matter. His mother was American. This shit isn't complicated.

I don't think they are contesting whether is mother was American? :dunno: Just because his mother is an American, does not make him "natural born"

FYI I am not saying he wasn't born here, I don't care at this point, well I do, but I don't. Basically it is too late he is in office, and I just want him out because I don't like his politics. Wife saw the article and I thought I would pass it along to stir some shit!

Well if that is the case, john mccain was born in panama, he was ineligible, too

Oh wait IP... what if you're the child of an american citizen, you're an american citizen, too? That's silly... you have to be born over american soil, and besides hawaii doesn't even really count as american soil, it's more of a vacation property anyway...

Really birthers? Give it up...

So I just watched that thing, and he said "it could be a fake, and I'm not 100% sure it's authentic"

That isn't exactly high on the scale of assuredness. I could with the same amount of certainty say "I'm believe Joe Arpaio could be a martian, and I can't say with 100% certainty that he doesn't drink horse semen"

Not responding to the legitimacy of the certificate, but so as long as it's true he's an American, it's okay if he (they) forged a document. MmmHmmm

Actually that's exactly what you're doing (responding to the legitimacy of the certificate by assuming it was forged)

No, it's not. I'm not assuming anything. No where have I ever said I believe it's forged or a fake. My comment was directed to statements such as IP's.

Apparently the end justifies the means.

The end justifies the means? How does that apply to "his mother is an american citizen, so he is an american citizen, regardless of what some redneck sherriff claims as evidence of forgery"

And I'll bet dollars to pesos old joe is going back to the "layers" theory, he used adobe's software, opened the document and found 9 layers...already debunked....

Okay. Teletubby style.... So many people, mainly the left, are saying "Who cares if his certificate is fake. He's already president and his mom is American anyways. " Do you not see an error in that thought process?

Redneck? Judging again aren't we? You seem to have a problem with anyone who doesn't sing praise to Obama. I guess you are no better than Zimmerman huh? Didn't he do a similar thing in your opinion?

Last time I checked the Constitution requires NATURAL BORN CITIZENSHIP!

That wasn't what I was saying, but sure, not caring if a document was forged is an issue...

I would care if there was any real evidence that it was, in fact, forged. But the facts remain that you have a 80 yr old senior citizen investigating an electronic document who doesn't seem to have any experience at all with computer forensics... proclaiming loudly that he doesn't have any proof that it is fake, but based on the evidence he's seen, he "thinks" it "might be"

Apparently Obama is and McCain isn't according to snopes, I guess it is settled then. Isn't that just amazing that McCain's status is undetermined. I wonder if Snope has an agenda? :dunno:

http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/8/1403

(a) Any person born in the Canal Zone on or after February 26, 1904, and whether before or after the effective date of this chapter, whose father or mother or both at the time of the birth of such person was or is a citizen of the United States, is declared to be a citizen of the United States.

What year was John McCain born?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_McCain

John Sidney McCain III (born August 29, 1936) is the senior United States Senator from Arizona. He was the Republican presidential nominee in the 2008 United States election.

Hmmm, I guess I should write snopes. :)

Looks like a redneck, talks like a redneck, *shrug*

Teletubby style "if your parent is a citizen at the time of your birth, regardless of where this birth takes place (yes they can be on holiday in london, or on business in japan) you are a natural born citizen..."

No, abc is reporting on an official press conference being held by an idiot who isn't REALLY reporting anything at all.

But it isn't favorable for Obama it must be fear mongering! When Fox(faux) does it the Obama fanboys claim its fear mongering. Please enlighten me. I guess they are different companies so it is different right?

So you are an Anti-gun, racist, liberal, wealth redistribution supporting, boarder line socialist, Obama bot zombie?

NO?

How does a redneck talk, look, act, etc? Aren't we all just people? Can't you accept people for who they are without trying to lump them into some title?

I don't care who it's favorable for, fear mongering is an art that faux nuz has nearly perfected... they give you a sliver of information and infuse it with gallons of speculation and straw man...

Just like CNN, MSNBC, NBC, republicans, democrats, OBAMA, PELOSI, REID, etc.

Anything else? At least be honest. They didn't start it, and they were not the first! Nor are they the best!

You can't be honest, you are very biased end of story! Just like with the Obamaisms. You see the Bushisms, but can't see the Obamaisms. Just admit it Obama can do no wrong!

At least Justin doesn't claim to be unbiased!

Some of that is true personally, almost none is true politically, and it's not really important who I am anyway. (Btw, that would be borderline, I'm not entering a ship or a plane)

I have PLENTY of experience with rednecks... the key is a glorious lack of sophistication... infuse a little southern twang, some racism, a shot gun, a love for cheap beer, and nascar, you're pretty much there... I can provide many examples if you like, I went to high school with nearly 100 of them.

So all rednecks like nascar? Got it? All stereotypes are 100% accurate? Just because you don't like his politics he is a redneck, GOT IT!

So Zimmerman is wrong for stereotyping in your opinion, but it is okay for you to stereotype? Once again got it!

FYI, I have been accused of being redneck and I don't care for sports especially auto racing! Not much for alcohol either. I do own multiple shotguns so I guess I am a redneck.

Update: I forgot to mention I used to own a shotgun. I lost my weapons in a tragic boating accident.

Obama has done plenty wrong IMO, I didn't vote for him last time, I probably won't vote for him this time...(I definitely won't vote for mittens though)

Keeping gitmo open, maintaining the patriot act, getting involved in libya's civil war, drone strikes, I could go on... but the point is, I'm not an obama fanboy, but I can see the stupidity in the birther movement...

Wow, first time you have been honest about him. (at least that I have seen)

I couldn't've cared less if zimmerman was a kkk member, more power to him. It was the act of denying an innocent citizen his right to live that I take issue with.

We all have our bias, as much as I stay objective in my political views about guns (I do support the second amendment, and your right to have all the shotguns your little heart desires) my personal view is that in a civilized society, there is not a need for a device who'se primary purpose is to mortally wound at a distance....

If you're at war, so be it... hunting? Go for it(seems to take all the "sport" out of it but w/e)..but just walking around? Neh...don't see the need. I'm just not into denying other people their rights just because I don't want/need it.
