I'll prove Obama is not a Marxist when you prove there is no teapot orbiting jupiter...

Well actually Obama is more of a hybrid, he is very Alinsky like also.

. The rules

RULE 1: “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.” Power is derived from 2 main sources – money and people. “Have-Nots” must build power from flesh and blood. (These are two things of which there is a plentiful supply. Government and corporations always have a difficult time appealing to people, and usually do so almost exclusively with economic arguments.) RULE 2: “Never go outside the expertise of your people.” It results in confusion, fear and retreat. Feeling secure adds to the backbone of anyone. (Organizations under attack wonder why radicals don’t address the “real” issues. This is why. They avoid things with which they have no knowledge.) RULE 3: “Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy.” Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty. (This happens all the time. Watch how many organizations under attack are blind-sided by seemingly irrelevant arguments that theyare then forced to address.) RULE 4: “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.” If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules. (This is a serious rule. The besieged entity’s very credibility and reputation is at stake, because if activists catch it lying or not living up to its commitments, they can continue to chip away at the damage.) RULE 5: “Ridicule is man’s most potentweapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions. (Pretty crude, rude and mean, huh? They want to create anger and fear.) RULE 6: “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.” They’ll keep doing it without urging and come back to do more. They’re doing their thing, and will even suggest better ones. (Radical activists, in this sense, are no different that any otherhuman being. We all avoid “un-fun” activities, and but we revel at and enjoy the ones that work and bring results.) RULE 7: “A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.” Don’t become old news. (Even radical activists get bored. So to keep them excited and involved, organizers are constantly coming up with new tactics.) RULE 8: “Keep the pressure on. Never let up.” Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new. (Attack, attack, attack from all sides, never giving the reeling organization a chance to rest, regroup, recover and re-strategize.) RULE 9: “The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.” Imagination and ego can dream up many more consequences than any activist. (Perception is reality. Large organizations always prepare a worst-case scenario, something that may be furthest from the activists’ minds. The upshot is that the organization will expend enormous time and energy, creating in its own collective mind the direst of conclusions. The possibilities can easily poison the mind and result in demoralization.) RULE 10: “If you push a negative hard enough,it will push through and become a positive.” Violence from the other side can win the public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog. (Unions used this tactic. Peaceful [albeit loud] demonstrations during the heyday of unions in the early to mid-20th Century incurred management’s wrath, often in the form of violence that eventually brought public sympathy to their side.) RULE 11: “The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.” Never let the enemy score points because you’re caught withouta solution to the problem. (Old saw: If you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the problem. Activist organizations have an agenda, and their strategy is to hold a place at the table, to be given a forum to wield their power. So, theyhave to have a compromise solution.) RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurtfaster than institutions. (This is cruel, but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works.)[2]

Freepublic?

Yes. If OhioRiders is a factory farm chicken coop of political discussion, FreeRepublic is the natural, organic, no-antibiotics-administered, free range of political derp. You'd honestly fit right in there. While your there, feel free to stop by World Net Daily and pick up one of Jerome Corsi's books, they also feed right into your "I'm really not a birther, I'm just asking questions" worldview.

so birthers... what would it take? is there any evidence that is acceptable? do we need to get the Delorean out so you can go back in time and watch him crown?

if you really were sciency, and watched futurama, you would know that can't be done. don't you redneck/hillbillies know anything?

close enough

conservative forum, chock full of birthers, and tea partiers...

Got it, never heard of it or been there. I pretty much only talk politics forum wise here, and used to at BFA's forum but they ticked me off. I'm of many forums, but only vehicle, trucking, firearm, motorcycle, and camera/photography related.

What the problem with the teaparty, and all the hatred? Oh forgot you guys don't feel the Federal government is limited by the constitution.

What question did I ask? I posted the article for entertainment, by the way you and Magz provided plenty of entertainment. Sounds like your panties are firmly wedged up your chicken fucking ass! I wouldn't fit in there, I don't like to hear one side. I enjoy your Zombie support of Obama. I'm surprised you weren't offered a cabinet position as Chief Chicken Fucker!

the "tea party" is actually a pseudo grass roots organization (if you can call it that) that was made up and cultivated by fox news...

I don't hate the tea party, I just think they are mildly bigoted, and majorly misguided...

I even agree with some of their premises, but as a "movement" on the whole, mostly a whole lot of hot air with a tinge of racism.

Our federal government should be limited further, but so should the churches, the corporations, and the lobbyists...

If time travel was possible seeing the Anointed One's head crown would not be on the top of my list. Probably not even on the list.

Fox news created the tea party? Who is the one buying into conspiracy theories? The tea party is racist? The the tea party is a group of people. Sure there are some idiots, but as a whole I don't believe they are racist. You should see a doctor for your fear of churches and fox news. You may need mediated.

I guess MSNBC started the occupy wall street and other occupy groups? At least the tea party didn't need rape free zones and didn't litter the parks.

You give fox news way too much credit! Seriously see a shrink

Nope sorry again. I've been using anointed one since before he was elected, because the media refused to investigate much into his politics and gave him a free pass. I sometimes catch a small bit of Mark Levin while waiting to listen to David Webb. By the way I listen to David Webb because I'm a redneck racist, not because he is a intelligent conservative tea party leader. Oops he founded one branch of the tea party, he must be racist also. Can blacks, Mexicans, Asians, etc be racist or only us crackers. Then I listen to some of NRA news, cause I'm a chicken fucking racist redneck. Now usually part way through I change it to 90's on 9, one of 3 country stations, classic rock, or one of two comedy channels. Now on the weekend I primarily listen to the music or comedy except between 4-7 I listen to Kevin rutherford on the trucking channel. Occasional I listen to some of Mike Church's program on the patriot channel.

Can't stand to listen to Beck or Hannity. Sorry MSNBC fanboy chicken fuckers.

Quite a few of us chicken fuckers out here I guess. :dunno:

Are you still fucking the Obama isn't a Marxist chicken?

President Obama isn't a Marxist. Or a Socialist, or any of those other scary words. One who calls him a Marxism is merely demonstrating that he doesn't know what Marxism is (or Socialism, for that matter).

I'm kind of surprised that one redneck racist sheriff so quickly spun up a 7 page thread here so quickly.

I didn't say they created them, I said they "cultivated" you can't make an orange (so far as i know), but you can cultivate an orange really easily...

As for the "racist" and "bigoted" bit, I'm pretty comfortable hanging my hat on those generalizations... are ALL the tea partiers racist bigots? absolutely not... but is there a stronger element on average of racism and bigotry than in the general public? I'd bet so...

msnbc is no longer a thing... that partnership got dissolved, guess you'll have to go after nbc themselves or maybe cnbc, or cnn...

I give faux nuz the credit they are due, they've been quite successful in building a 24 hour republican political ad...

I don't need a shrink, I have a motorcycle...:D

Your a dillusional liberal brain dead Obama bot, got it. Maybe you look up what Karl Marx pushed. If you can't draw barrels well the previous applies. Socialist? Does he believe in wealth redistribiotion? Is wealth redistributuon a socialistic idea? He believes in universal health care is that a socialistic idea? Guess not. Suppose he couldn't be classified as a progressive or liberal idea huh?

You have made me see the I'm just a big meanie! My apologies for calling the savior any mean names. He is a moderate democrat constitionalist! He has the most transparent administration. He has a spotless record and is simply doing what's best for the USSA. You have made me see the light I shall change my mean, redneck, racist, bigoted libertarian/republican ways and vote for hope and change. :)

Thank you for helping me see the error in my ways.

Must be lost Justin what chicken am I supposedly fucking?

Wait - Cheech is Justin?

Sorry, Justin, I've been calling you the wrong name all these years...

Obama is not a Marxist/Engelsist/Socialist/Communist? Really? Well then, how do you explain that the band that opened for his rally in Oregon is named after the 1825 revolt against Imperial Russian Succession???

No answer? Didn't think so...

You know, Obama is a lousy Socialist, seeing as how Marx defined socialism as a classless society with abundance, freedom, and equality for all.

He's failing on the abundance and freedom parts, and failing very well - unless you consider the rapidly expanding debt as an "abundance" of debt and fewer freedoms as "free enough".

I'll admit to being more 'billy than 'neck.

Bigoted? Sure, to some extent. Anyone who says they aren't is lying.

Racist? Probably, again to some extent. Back about 40 or 50 posts someone quoted something that said, in part, that an Eskimo could be president.

I f*cking hate Eskimos. :nono:

Yes. I'm a "dillusional liberal brain dead Obama bot," because I understand history, and know what words mean.

The fact that a person believes in some principles that are also held by socialists does not make one a socialist.

You clearly believe that President Obama is not a good President. You know who else believes he isn't a good President? The KKK. Shall I assume, then, that since you and the KKK share this ideal, you must be a member of the KKK?

You mean "you're," by the way.

I don't think you're a "big meanie."

I just don't think you know what either Marxism or Socialism actually are.

I think you probably have a limited understanding of both history and politics, which is true of so many people, given that last rant there. It's pretty easy to fall back on insults and ranting when you're unable to make a solid point.

What, exactly, is my "side?" Surely, I have one, but I haven't posted about that here, as far as I know.

I guess I don't understand this post at all. Is your argument here since I don't buy every negative thing that Fox News says about President Obama, I probably sit outside 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, waiting patiently for my chance to fellate the President when he leaves for his morning run?

Or is it just that it's easier to respond like this when there's nothing left for you to be corrected on?

Natural-born citizen...

whooeee I stand corrected. Not many can do that.

rep for you Sir, for looking it up.

Way more complicated than I thought.

On the other hand, not so much "out of my ass" compared to what I generally see posted! Mostly lazy and didn't look it up.

edit: more than we ever wanted to know:

Wiki on "natural born citizen"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural-born-citizen_clause

cliff's notes: Obama is a natural born citizen by virtual of his Mother's citizenship.

Unless, she revoked that citizenship at anytime, or possibly took dual citizenship somewhere.

Dual citizenship gets complicated, since many countries forbid it or specifically regulate it.

It's even more simple than that.

President Obama is a natural born citizen as a result of being born the United States and under its jurisdiction. The citizenship of his mother is irrelevant.
