Dayton (Centerville/Kettering) - Minimum Wage - Teens Needed

Recommended Posts

The wife and I are opening up a self-serve yogurt shop in Centerville/Kettering area and are now looking to hire part-time employees. Stay-at-home mom or retiree also wanted for morning opening routine (clean a machine or two, cut fruit).

We are looking to hire a few part-time employees to fill out the shift schedule. If anyone interested and is comfortable interfacing with people, send us an app. Sooner we get some good peeps, the sooner we can open. All shifts needed.

Application is on the contacts page http://twillysyogurt.com/ .

:wtf: why would you need employee's if it's "self-serve"?

j/k :D Good luck in your venture, and if I'm in the area sometime I will have to stop in.

Thanks for the best wishes and we welcome all the support. And yes, there will be some promos once the cash flow starts flowing.

http://www.twillysyogurt.com/ and LIKE us on FB.

A couple more weeks for construction, permits and training. We need a few good employees now.

The site gives the directions but we are about 1 mile north of I-675 on 48 (Far Hills Road). We are in the back of the Dorothy Lane shopping center. Centerville/Kettering border.

If you're up for being flexible, as I'm working at Best Buy as well (currently 17), I'd be more than willing to work part-time for you. Be cool to work with (for) a fellow rider! Where's the applications?

Plus: Damn, I love frozen yogurt.

I'm also pretty skilled with websites/web hosting things as well, if you need any help with that sort of thing.

Getting closer to opening. Machines are in and inspections to come.

POS system should get here next week and then I can work on the OR Rider promo code. Soft opening (no fanfare) in a week or two. Hopefully, grand opening around Labor Day.

Twilly's Yogurt Emporium is moving closer to opening. We have passed all the inspections and have approval to open.

There are a few more details to work through but the biggest hurdles remain the POS system and laborers.

Signage should go up today and we will place our order for toppings.

Shooting for opening on the 27th. We would like to have a "soft" opening where friends and friends of friends will be invited in to check out the place and give feedback. No charge yogurt so we can do a shake down on our process.

Check back here for time and dates on the soft opening. All will be invited and be sure to bring our target audience: wives and kids.

WHOAAAA... Wait. What? I don't want my family exposed to any of the OR bastages floating around here. And all three have an affinity for ice cream-type stuff. Hmmm, almost got me. Good play, my friend.

You guys gonna have sampling spoons? I'm just gonna keep trying samples over and over. Easily ate a double-cones-worth at UDF last night, and didn't pay a penny. Line behind me got pretty long, but hey.

I think your first TV ad should be the Dos Equis guy. "I don't always eat froyo, but when I do, its Twilly's". We're a small market, I'm sure Dos Equis will never even hear about it...

No spoons but little sample cups that don't require spoons are planned.

There will be 10 flavors running at any one time. You can take as much as you want of each flavor, into your cup, pay us, and then use your spoon.

Wait, we have to bring own spoons?

I will probably stop by inbetween jobs sometime when y'all open up. (opposite way between my jobs lol, but not too far out of the way)

Come one, come all. We should be open this Wednesday 8/29.

Twilly's Yogurt Emporium is about a half mile north of I-675 in the Dorothy Lane shopping complex. We are in the back of the complex by the running store, Boston Stoker and the nut shop. Which seems kind of fitting.

POS system was delivered today and a few employees have been trained. We are still in the process of hiring more and running them through the training.

So, this is our SOFT, SOFT opening to run us through the paces and establish a routine and learn.

Come on in, give us your coin and constructive criticism. Now, I just hope the newbies can count change.

BTW, thanks to all the OR riders for the support and the applications. We heard a few references to OR riders during the interviews and hiring. If you applied and haven't heard, be patient as we still have openings and my wife is working through the reference checks and a million other details.
