Beegreenstrings
Been bothered with thoughts of moving her on down the road. Yes, I wanted it enough to pay cash for her. But, thoughts of a newer F250 crew have been bothering me lately.Already had two offers on her and never really said I was selling it.One guy offered whay I paid for her. Granted I have not done a thing to her except two new front tires.I guess...Pros of having her.I love having a car with a V8. Especially a stick. She is spotless!Clutch is like newWith liberty Mutual and my age, my insurance is cheapThe car is coolonly has 42K on the clockcons. With liberty mutual you can not drop your insurance over the winter.I can only or will only drive her when its nice so its into storage for x monthsI refuse to let the dogs get inside herI cant justify to send her down the road or not.She is not a financial burden, so that does not play into the equationI guess, If I did get the 16K I got in her I would not be able to buy the 250 I want with that, so why bother myself with the thought of moving her for that?any input...(no bashing)
shadyone
Youre right about not getting a Crew cab for 16K but it would be a massive down payment and it sounds like you could afford a payment. Id say your second guessing yourself because its getting colder and going into storage mode. Whats your winter vehicle? and what about selling both. that might get you where you think you wanna be. Bad324
its an 04 GTO and honestly if you're thinking financially then now is the time to dump it for what you paid for it and you're out nothing and you can say you've owned oneIts only gonna lose further value as another year goes by and you likely hit the 50k mark
Beegreenstrings
Shadyone - I still have my extended cab 4x4 ranger. still going but nearing 180k on it. I have no complaints except I have had it since 03.Jester - I dont think you can on a 04. I think it has to hit the classic mark.Bad - I know, that I think is where I am at. That and putting her in storage in the garage (which is where she sits 90% of the time). If I have to take a trip, like I did to camp perry, I love it. When I cant ride the bike... and honestly who likes throwing money away?
shadyone
Well since you'll be needing a new truck sooner than later and you'll get what you paid out of it now. I'd say let her go. You had fun but you'll still have the bike.
