Home defenseHas anybody had enough experience with these to know whether or not they're truly "modular"?It came with a 28" barrel with an improved, modified, and full cylinder. As far as I know, it will fit a standard barrel for a 500. Does anybody know how much a rifled slug barrel will cost me?As soon as I either hit the range or go out hunting, I'll try to get a review of my personal opinion up. ICEMAN Posted November 5, 2012 Report Share Posted November 5, 2012 here was my 500 when i first got it. 20" barrel, mag extension, and heat shield.Then i added a Tapco adjustable stock i got for free from work.Then i bought a tactical fore end with rails so i can mount a vertical grip and light.Then i designed my own vertical grip at work.Here is the vertical grip i designed after i printed it on our 3D printer and put it on the 500.full shot with it.But then i found a Mission First Tactical vertical grip with light holder i had at work so i took that home with me and put it on instead of the printed one. Will hold a 5/8" up to 1" light.Thats it. There are many options available for this gun. Buckeye4Life Posted November 6, 2012 Author Report Share Posted November 6, 2012 College student budget here, Kawi i've got some rifled slugs right now but I'm gonna be saving for the barrel (probably next season)Today, I made a Gander Mtn. run (the Cabela's isn't open in Columbus yet) because I needed some new bibs, but I got a picatinny mount for the 500. After I got home, I threw on a little sightmark red dot that I had on my AR for a while. Pretty entertaining, but the guy I hunt with has a shotgun scope that I'm gonna have on here shortly.Thanks to you guys for the Tactical ideas! Now I've got an idea of what i'm going to do with mine.
