speedytriple
I was a cheap ass and went with the vortex. After reading Toms post about setting a 4moa dot at a 6 oclock pattern it kinda made me rethink needing something with a smaller dot. Gixxus Christ!
I co-witness MI flip ups through my eotech, works for me. I've shot rifles with the vortex sight on them before, good little optic for the money but I like the rugged construction of the eotech personally. imaposer
How are your eyes? My vision is perfect, and I didn't even know I had a slight astigmatism until I bought my first red dot. The red dot looked like a starburst. I thought it was because I was cheap and got the vortex, so I sold that and upgraded to an aimpoint. It's better, but still not ideal. I got a look through a friends eotech the other day, and didn't even think of the clarity of the sight picture for me until afterwards, so I'm thinking it must have been significantly better. I told him to bring it back over next time we go shooting so I can compare it side by side to mine. If it is better, I'm selling my aimpoint, and buying two of those as I have a second ar on the way. If not, I'll see about other options.
speedytriple
The eotech looks the same as the vortex to me? I wear contacts, but it looked good to my eyes. Some quick phone pics.
