i was looking at these while gandering at gander mountain, and noticed that a lot of these types of optics have no magnification.

if there is no magnification, what's the advantage of this type of optic versus a "open" type like an eotech or eotech look-a-like? it seems like its easier to see through the eotech type versus this type

FYI - You can add on magnification.

I ordered one of these...should come while I'm gone at CES.
