Oh Man - I'm into watches ! Here's my Kawasaki Racing edition Casio G-Shock that I found on e bay for something like $127.00 B3F3BE48-6180-42CF-9DC9-2070BD729624-11245-00001BCB2BBF3EB8.jpg...matches the Lime Green ZX9 perfectly E2F05606-D92E-435B-8915-482A2D54F29B-11245-00001BCB1FE9A313.jpg...what I don't like about my G-Shock watches is that the bezel is tall, doesn't hide under cuff very well at all, always caught on the sleeve B6EE6E53-B3B9-41BA-B710-BFFB7366D3A4-11245-00001BCB3C06E581.jpg...I paid $50 for the black G-Shock but I think they're going for $75 these days EB30D4D4-C37D-4838-BBA3-F1D06E46D2B4-11245-00001BCB2F3780B6.jpg...cool watches though 20EC0E0D-28A4-4891-8ACC-8F7C2F1EBCC6-11245-00001BCB33DA960F.jpg...

Lets get into watches - I'm a toolmaker which this whole toolmaking trade evolved from watch makers, I could go into more detail but for everyone's sake I won't - lol... Basically though a mechanical movement has all the tiny gears and such - nicer ones have rubies (jewels) as bearing for longer wear. This is my 22 jeweled Russian made Poljot "Strela" that I paid $275.00 for, I haven't seen much less than $475 these days A5BE278B-D3F5-4673-A559-59470918AA58-11245-00001BCB0978A8E4.jpg...buttery smooth leather strap against the wrist, but nylon against sleeve A78993C6-7F2E-4FC7-8DF5-D665445F418B-11245-00001BCB283D62F3.jpg...I LIKE this watch ALOT but I've refrained from wearing it too much since I've seen their prices climbing, has the exhibition case to be able to see the movement 295D0A7A-9233-4F9B-AD32-D0159603BDE2-11245-00001BCB0E224D29.jpg

My EL automatic with 26 jewels, the more jewels means more accuracy.. Paid $375 for this limited edition (#26 of 30), then I bought the blue leather strap and stainless clasp for another $125 to really set it off!!7B2B846B-50DD-47A5-9D05-5E9BEC241486-11245-00001BCB12EB3411.jpg...this relatively a cheap watch in the world of watches, but it's a good cheap watch due to its Swiss made automatic movement - and it glows in low level light conditionsE889B73E-D061-499F-8CB2-F7B7FA197058-11245-00001BCB2317D536.jpg...perfect case size at 44mmBFEE7565-8536-47CC-950B-C9C534C8BC83-11245-00001BCB24B99CC4.jpg...watches/motorcycles/photography maybe not in that order but those are the things that are most interesting to me 19E7EC4B-025E-4277-A96E-E1D2CD3536E3-11245-00001BCB2432BB61.jpg

That strella is sexy. I would love to become a horologist. Some of the mechanisms are amazing.

Thank You !! I like that watch tremendously.... Poljot decided to remake that 1950s style watch that the Russian Army had issued to its pilots... Strela means "arrow" in pollock talk LoL

If I had deeper pockets, I would have more watches. I like the look of the 3 dial watches, Omega Speedmaster, breitling navitimer and the Bentley GT.

A few years ago, in Vegas, one store had a used omega speedmaster schumacher edition with carbon fiber face and bezel for $3500. I don't have a buget for a watch over 1K, but they are sweet to look at.

I can only imagine the skill and detail involved to design and assemble a high end watch.

The badass Seiko Orange Monster automatic 53550FC7-6235-4E7F-92C0-F1BF1D438076-11245-00001BCB35815883.jpg...Seiko and Android automatic movements, auto are mechanical movements with a rotor that winds the main spring with movement of the wrist FC09A740-5278-4469-A5B1-D2D5D8332B1F-11245-00001BCB364F1598.jpg...AD5AC5EF-C091-47BD-8D0B-3052437A3CE1-11245-00001BCB37F78A56.jpg...6C171FC5-C5DF-41FD-8B55-9B30C86C539F-11245-00001BCB38C5B98B.jpg

How do you like the movement in the Seiko? Looking at an automatic of theirs.

Holy shit Limeniner! Watch addiction? Damn.

Side note: I didn't know watches were still popular since cell phones became big in early 2000's. I rarely see anyone with them anymore except the older guys. I'm 35, so I notice mostly on 45+ age group these days it seems.

I see you are still admiring watches at the urinals in the men's room

another cheap beater - Seiko auto snagged off eBay for less than $753D6BA671-2185-42CC-97F5-548019C7BFFA-11245-00001BCB2B141287.jpg...961D743A-67FE-4583-83DE-7F6024B7E789-11245-00001BCB28E2DB27.jpg

I grabbed that exact model from a holiday sale recently for pretty cheap and really like it. I've always enjoyed watches, but have only recently started learning about them.

My wife got me a Seiko SSA023 automatic for Christmas, and I absolutely love it. I'm fascinated by automatic movements and I really love the exhibition face.
