  1. Hello CR! Highlights of my life: My name is Mark, and I've lived in Delaware my whole life. Im 19, and am halfway through my first year at Ohio Wesleyan University. I'm looking to major in some type of business or ecomonics, and probably double major in spanish. I'm not good at all with this about me stuff, so Ill just focus a little more on the car My rolling bank account: Never planned on buying a Z, just randomly saw this 1990 300zx non turbo for sale along the road, and fell in love. It was rougher than the picture lets on though. http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i169/1fynzx/IMG_3831.jpg $3,000 later it was mine. I was 14 at the time, so I had a while to get it in shape. First thing I tackled was the interior which looked like it was used for chainsaw storage. Being that I was 14, guess what I did to it? ....(Dont worry, we'll come back to that) http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i169/1fynzx/IMG_7340.jpg Then the outside. Thank god I had better taste there. http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i169/1fynzx/IMG_7309.jpg That's pretty much how it was for a while, little things here and there. Late 07 and 08 she drained my accounts again. BBS wheels that I got for a steal. http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i169/1fynzx/IMG_2250.jpg This spring, I decided to fix two things that really bugged me with the car. First, was the interior. Couldn't stand the headache I got from looking at it anymore, and recovered with automotive grade suede. http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i169/1fynzx/IMG_7710.jpg And most importantly, the engine. Out went the non turbo, and in went the twin turbo. Thanks SilverTwin! Just basic mods, as Im really just after reliability and drivability. http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i169/1fynzx/IMG_8450.jpg The front is getting a makeover this winter, as you can see in that picture^ (Booooo, overspray) As she sat this fall http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i169/1fynzx/3zcsized12.jpg http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i169/1fynzx/3zcsized6.jpg I always see some really nice cars driving around so Im looking forward to putting some names with them, and learn a little bit along the way. Ill do my best to contribute back to the community as well!

  6. Okay, on to my FC! I bought her with 140k miles, looking like this: http://photos-b.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v73/51/14/82000840/n82000840_30314337_504.jpg http://photos-e.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v73/51/14/82000840/n82000840_30314340_935.jpg The engine had shot an apex seal, and there were a ton of mechanical problems.... luckily, I had the resources to get her all fixed up Under spraypaint, with a rebuilt engine: http://photos-h.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v73/51/14/82000840/n82000840_30314351_451.jpg After the paint job, with new wheels: http://photos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-sf2p/v115/51/14/82000840/n82000840_30392406_580.jpg http://photos-h.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-sf2p/v115/51/14/82000840/n82000840_30392407_945.jpg Also, did one of the few true ambient-air intakes for the FC: Mariah cold air box, cone filter, vented headlight cover: http://photos-a.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-sf2p/v240/51/14/82000840/n82000840_30542424_7146.jpg Then she took a hit, and the shop that did the first paint job did the body work, but couldn't match to their own paint, so they repainted the car, and got it much closer to the right color. I also threw on one of the two spoilers I had lying around. I know it's big and ricey; I already have my flame suit on: http://photos-d.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-sf2p/v332/51/14/82000840/n82000840_30641211_3721.jpg

  7. I'm Hamlet, I have a 1996 Nissan Maxima with some slight cosmetic mods. I have been in to cars for about 8 years, Im more in to the whole electronics kinda thing. I have absolutely done stupid things like add a full fledge computer to the dash board. I'm more into looks than horsepower though. I used to Auto X in the Maxima but with with work and all its gotten a bit hard to find time. Tien Lowering Springs 17' Nissan 350z Rims and a couple others mods. http://a136.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/106/l_13f59042d03162ced2a8e5faa1b77487.jpg http://a61.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/92/l_6973eb3d7cf6561938122dd757ba2294.jpg

  10. Also, I drive a 1987 Mazda RX7 non-turbo. I'm looking to eventually do an aggressive streetport, a Camden blower, and tune with a Haltech.

  12. Im going to try and make this short and sweet. My grandfather owns a 2005 Suzuki Verona. Its needed an oil change for a while. 2 weeks maybe more. He continues to drive it to work everyday. 60+ miles a day, well went to taco bell in it last night not knowing of the need for an oil change. Im in the drive thru and it sounds like im in a fucking deisel truck. I get back home and have shitty acceleration and its clicking and knocking. It will still start and run and drive for that matter. But i need someone to try and give me some idea of what the fuck we might be dealing with now. Or if a simple oil change will take away all the noises. Mind you, when i say its clicking i mean CLICKING Imagine a rollercoaster climbing to the top but faster clicking.
