New cars aren't cars anymore...they are styled appliances, or safety equipment...whichever you choose. The only advancement since 1979 that I appreciate in cars today is refinements in air conditioning. Other than that, most new cars today are too heavy, and have too much technology for basic transportation needs... So yes...the 1979 Roc in superb condition gets me going more than a new one.1 point
