  5. Just legalize it,it's much less harmful than alcohol.I'd go one step farther, allow personal use cultivation, strickly regulate it and kiss the state deficit good bye.Think of the cottage industry it would create,it could be even larger than the cottage industry of illegal marijuana. We obviously didn't learn anything from prohibition...illegal makes the criminals rich and creates violence, legal produces government revenue.

  6. you probably have a couple options 1)move to a better area 2)go outside and intervene when shit like this happens 3)at the very least, video tape it with your phone 4)call the cpd and discuss the response time and your concerns 5)do nothing, say nothing--just move on with your life 6)whine about it like a bitch on a car website out of all those options, you seriously chose #6??

  7. Shamefully copied from an R1 message net: 98-01 Service Manual (14.60 MB) 02-03 Service Manual (17.27 MB) 04-06 Service Manual (21.20 MB) 04-06 Race Manual (1.49 MB) Manual sezs: FAULTY GEAR SHIFTING SHIFTING IS DIFFICULT Refer to “CLUTCH DRAGS”. SHIFT PEDAL DOES NOT MOVE Shift shaft Improperly adjusted shift rod Bent shift shaft. Shift drum and shift forks Foreign object in a shift drum groove Seized shift fork Bent shift fork guide bar Transmission Seized transmission gear Foreign object between transmission gears Improperly assembled transmission CLUTCH DRAGS Clutch Unevenly tensioned clutch springs Warped pressure plate Bent clutch plate Swollen friction plate Bent clutch pull rod Broken clutch boss Burnt primary driven gear bushing Match marks not aligned Engine oil Incorrect oil level Incorrect oil viscosity (high) Deteriorated oil my experience says: bumping a shift lever hard on the ground can result in bending a shift fork. And mess up the followers on the shift drum. Result is hard to shift or won't shift. Done that. Had to open the trans and repair. Hopefully it's just the shift shaft, that's easier to get to and repair. Done that too.

  8. Hi all, my name is Bret. I have lived in Columbus for a few years now, but don't have any real friends in the area who are fellow enthusiasts. I have been into cars since I was little and I just love all things high performance. I have two cars currently. My daily driver is a 2004 VW Jetta GLI 1.8T which I love! Its almost completely stock, and I am trying hard to keep it that way. I am also finishing up a 1990 Eagle Talon TSi AWD which has turned into a couple year project. It should finally see the road in the next few weeks, which will be the first time since like 1998 or something crazy like that! I bought the car two years ago from a guy who had it sitting in his garage all tore apart since like 1999. The motor is now completely built and I'm just trying to wrap up some details so I can finally drive it. I'm just running a small 16G for now, but have plans to do some upgrading over this coming winter. I would really like to get involved with the group, as I tend to be shy and have a hard time making new friends. I have lots of friends back where I grew up around Akron-Canton, but would like to have some pals in Columbus. I look forward to meeting many of you and having a kick ass summer. Here is a picture of my Jetta http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i5/bchumley/Jetta.jpg and... here is a picture of my Talon as it looked when I bought it. I have since gotten it back to solid red, and its looking ALOT better! http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i5/bchumley/DSCN2730.jpg also, not sure if there are any Nissan guys on here, but its possible I may have met you a few years back. This 240SX was my pride and joy for many years, but have since sold it. Sorry, maybe its lame to post a picture of my old car, but I still love it and miss it! http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i5/bchumley/1016.jpg
