  1. I think this is a good example of how you know the trail is just too slick to ride. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exDyuwzsgiY Later as we did some local gravel roads we entered a blind corner just as it started to rain again. Locked the rear three times coming into the corner and just before I stopped I picked a new line going thru a hole inbetween the trees. I came about four feet from going off road thru the ditch as the tires simply slid across the pavement but finally found traction in the gravel at the road side.

  2. Anyone know of a map of the locations of deer crashes in Ohio? Failing that, I was going to send an email to the Ohio Department of Public safety inquiring about getting a download of accident report data for animal-involved crashes (gps co-ordinates, etc). If they can provide that then I hope to provide a map showing those lcoations to help identify the most dangerous roads. I can import that data into a mysql database and display the results on a google map.

  4. I didn't say I thought that it could beat the BMW.... maybe at the strip it would but not on a track all I meant was the BMW is what they should be gunning for not the Busa because if they were going after BMW they would have to greatly improve the handling and shed some weight. Regardless I like the straight line power and I have no desire to drag a knee on the street or the track I'll get my rush a 1/4 mile at a time and at Wilmington this summer.

  6. In a business like that it takes a lot of time, skill and hard work to build up your name. With that said his business has a new name.

  7. Forced into it at risk of being put out of business. It was a poor social experiment that didn't work. People who had money were forced to lend it at a risk they weren't going to accept so they packaged the risk and sold it to others. Smart money on their part and the results were very predictable. All of this could have been avoided if the government wouldn't have had the power to interfere with business and make sure poor people who shouldn't or couldn't afford a house got one. The risks shouldn't have been forced onto the banks and the banks end running the risk was the only option they had to protect themselves. In the end the government had to bail out a problem they created and we paid for. Had they been up front about their social experiment and subsidized the loans up front the political backlash from that decision would have prevented the whole mess.
