what irritates me about the article is they talk about the cia agents as if they are just lost assets....it doesnt sound there is any effort to get them back or anything....i mean, i know those people knew what they were signing up for, but i think how its being handled according to the article is just wrong "people get killed" ....oh, no big deal....regardless of how people view the CIA, those agents are risking their lives over seas to help protect our country, so for them to be written off so easily just leaves a bad taste in my mouth

I stopped at Buddy's to talk about the event with them and unfortunately they had a band booked for the 28th. They still wanted us to come while the band was playing but I explained that one of the original reasons we came there was the karaoke not to mention the fact that bands take up most of the upper area where we always are so between us and all the people that would come see the band it would just be ridiculous to pack all of us in Buddy's. I would not be happy waiting 25 minutes for a drink and I'm sure the kitchen would be fucked too. We went back and forth with her trying to convince me that it would be fine. I told her I'm sorry but we will just have to find somewhere else to go this year, she got kinda pissed and walked in the back. I finished my drink and was ready to leave when she stopped me and said the band was cancelled and a karaoke DJ was booked so we are all set. We will have the $5 pitchers of bud, bud lite, and miller lite again this year as well as some $3 shot special. (not sure what and open to suggestions) Steaks will probably be $2 this year like they were the first year. Once we get closer to the event I will get a head count from everyone.
