  7. My brother in law ForceFed is on here. I have owned a 97 z24, a 2003.5 mazdaspeed protege and most recently a 2004 Dodge neon SRT-4. I just bought my friends 1997 plymouth breeze this afternoon for a new daily driver. I never owned a rwd car, I want to get into one, make decent power and go from there. Looking to get into an ls1 do the usual h/c/i and throw some juice in the mix. My name is Chris Kaspar, I am 21 from kettering which is a suburb outside of dayton. I work two part time jobs and go to school. I have one ride, the breeze but I am wanting to buy either an f body or a fox. that is why I joined this forum. Kyle said there was some nice things for sale on here. pics of my previous cars.. http://www.flickr.com/photos/17363339@N02/7376202736/in/photostream/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/17363339@N02/7376202032/in/photostream/

  11. Don't forget all your other bills and the cost of furnishing the new place. Also many utilities require a fee for hook up or even transfer of utilities. Also confirm there are no community fees or such BS for some looser group that will tell you what color your mail box has to be. Last is to look at your current vehicles. Nothing like buying a home and then finding out your car is dying. On the plus side take every discount you can find. Like wait for the HD or Lows 20% off coupon before buying that new fridge. Combine home/bike and cars on insurance and take the time to compare companies. Your insurance company has NO loyalty to you so don't feel the need to be loyal to them. Oh and good luck.

  13. If you have the budget, sock away a little every month in an "aw shit" fund for the times something breaks of for future improvements/upgrades.

  14. This is easy. Just figure that you won't have any "extra" money. Ever. If you get a bonus or "birthday money", something in the godforesaken fortress will break immediately. Watch the movie "Money Pit" three or four times before you sign the papers. Oh! Congratulations! And welcome to hell...

  17. Depends on how the offer is written. Realtor fee usually comes out of sellers . Are you going to do inspection? If so budget $200-400. The more inspections (radon, water, sewer, etc) the more it cost you. Utility hookup. Do you have 20% down if not expect PMI. Don't forget property taxes, most people have them included in the mortage. Even if you have the bank pay them you need to budget them in as they increase the payment monthly. Beer for the moving party.

  28. Concealed carry is implemented for those that are concerned with personal protection. Carrying your weapon CONCEALED means that no one knows you have a gun. When you open carry, you are making yourself a target. In the least you are walking around with a valuable item hanging from your hip for all the world to see. In reality its not just a valuable, its a weapon that someone could easily snatch from you and easily use in a violent crime - on you. An untrained person carrying a weapon on their hip is just inviting trouble, its not a shield. And lets get real, don't even try to draw a similarity between civilians who open carry and LEOs. Do you use a 3-way retention holster when you open carry that is physically attached to your belt? Are you trained on methods for physically removing a weapon from an armed assailant? Do you have a taser, pepper spray, and a baton on you as well to serve as backup weapons? Do you also carry a radio to report your activities to a dispatcher and request backup or medical assistance if needed? Are you wearing a vest under your shirt? And most importantly, no uniform, no badge, you're just some guy walking around with a gun on his belt and no one knows what your intent is, which is where the inciting panic charges come in. Private property owners have a right to post no weapons allowed, including businesses - deal with it. If I don't want someone walking into my house or business with a gun I have a right to refuse them entry. And if they keep coming anyway, professing their 2nd ammendment rights, they are going to get shot. At some point someone trying to make a political statement regarding Open carry into these establishments is going to get killed, and then we are in a whole 'nother world of shit. Keep it up and there will be a law banning open carry. If you want to make a political statement for these establishment do it in a way that matters, stop doing business with those places. Otherwise, next time you want to protest McDonald's or whoever, walk in with a sword on your belt instead of a gun.
