go to a credit union and ask about a unsecured line of credit, or if the car is new enough you could do a car loan, but some places require a almost new car. Normal bank rates will be much higher than credit unions.

If u can start the car and the key turns back that is the on/accesory/run position that im talking about. All the lights, radio and stuff on but not running. Sounds like you may be in decent shape. Buy a lock cylinder and key set and give it a try. If the entire housing is screwed it's easier just to buy a column brom a junkyard. Getting the column out is easy. Literally unplug everything and 6 bolts. You just have to be careful with the airbag and clock spring when u switch it over to the new to u column. U would also have to re-learn the pats system. If you go that route i can walk u thru it to. Oh and please disconnect the battery when u do any of this.....if not record it and put it on youtube.

i love insurance debates, everyone thinks they should pay the same thing as someone with the same model. There are so many more factors that go into determining your rate than just the make/model of the vehicle

Riders Discount Triumph rider, Joey Pascarella, smashed the old 600cc lap record at Vegas with a 1:15.424 in lap 2 of this video. He beat the old record (also set by himself) by half a second! To put this in perspective, no other 600cc rider has dipped below a 1:16 at this track. Even more impressive is the fact that the overall lap record, set by a 1000cc superbike, is only .2 seconds faster. This, is a perfect lap with Joey Pascarella at Vegas Speedway.
