  1. Well, life took a little change for us Friday night at 8:09pm, with the birth of our first son. He was delivered at Grant via C Section, and weighed in at a good old fashion 8lb 6oz and 20 inches long. All his tests were 8/9's so that was good to hear, and so far he seems very well mannered and healthy. First Dr. apt is Friday and really want to get that reassurance from the Dr. after a week of being with us that he's strong and healthy. Since I am still semi retarded, I don't know how to post pics on here, and I am sure Grapesmuggler will read this, or Casper, or anyone with an IQ of more than 5 which is mine and can post pics from my FB. For those who we talked to about the little one, gave us any info, insight, or anything, we appreciate it. Talking to Casper and CBRgirl at the July 4th party was a big help in regards to delivery at Grant and I have to admit, I highly recommend them. Kid craps more than I ever thought possible, and eats just like I would if I were him, nonstop. Mommy is doing well, and healing nicely, just wish she could get more sleep. I am trying to do everything I can to help and get stuff done, but always feel helpless when the little guy starts screaming. Anyways, his name is Luke Daniel Mambourg, and he came out with a full head of black hair, which neither of us have, but I still think he is mine, mainly cuz he craps nonstop. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

  2. Been in Central Ohio for more years than most of you have probably been alive. Currently drive a showroom stock C6 Corvette that ran a 12.64 @ 113 at National Trail this spring. Not a steet racer for many years. I have owned a number of interesting cars over the years including a '62 solid lifter Corvette , a '65 Solid lifter Corvette, A '69 350/350 Corvete, a '73 big block Corvette, a 1965 GTO purchased new, a new 1968 Roadrunner, a new 1999 Mustang Cobra, a new '86 Buick Grand National, a twin turbo BMW, a BMW M convertible, and more that don't immediately come to mind. Just a car guy cruising the internet and came across this web site.

  3. I had light surface rust on a parkerized revolver from what I suspect was due to being stored in a foam lined case. I cleaning with CLP sprayed on some cleaning patches and wiped down with Hoppe's oil. Then a second wipe down with Hoppe's #9 and a final wipe down with Hoppe's oil. Before: AFTER:

  4. Yes, I still have this bike. We bought a house so that pushed it back a lot more. But it gave me a spot to work on it. Been insulating and sheeting the garage recently. Ive cleaned up the motor a lot and that's about it. I need to go through and update all the images with links that work. The pics were off my MySpace site I had years ago and everything is now on FaceBook so I need to update them!

  5. This is pretty shocking. Were I in this class and this "unconventional exercise" came up, I would be making a b-line for the exit and demanding a refund. Nice guy or not, anyone playing these kind of games in an entry-level civilian class doesnt have a lick of sense and deserves to be run out of the training business. Sorry to hear his negligence resulted in tragedy and put a stain on responsible gun owners.

  9. Wonder if I can get my ex-wife in his next class and have her sit just a little to the right of where this guy was sitting. Oh well, a guy can dream.

  10. Definitely an awesome event ot be a part of. Kudos to all of you that were rocking the pedal power. I could not believe the amount of bicycle's that started out of downtown. I would encourage all of you to to become a part of this event. Everyone has been touched by this disease in some way. There is always a need for more help. There is a hell of alot to be done on the ride days. Hopefully I will able to volunteer again next year. Unfortunatley I wasn't able to chase down Casper and give him a 25 mph Congratulatory smack on the ass like I wanted. But there is always next year.

  11. From doing moto escort 2 years ago, I can tell you that the engine idle speed on a 03 600RR is approximately 8MPH. Good on you and the rest of the volunteers and riders. Given travel schedules, I hope to be there next year.

  12. I'm sore too! lol. Something about riding 15 mph made my whole left side hurt like crazy. I still don't have all of the feeling back in my pinky finger either. It was a lot of fun though - glad to help out The second day, I kept feeling like a mama duck because I would be riding past people at ~25 mph, and they would get behind me and draft off of me.

  13. It was fun - not too hot, no rain. But I'm sore as shit today. Not as much as the peddlers, but close. The ride home after Pelotonia was not fun.

  15. Quaker's bike night has gone downhill. I went a couple weeks ago, when it was awesome outside, and about half of the back lot was full. Which, if anyone knows, typically the whole back AND front lots are full on bike nights. I live right down the road from Quaker as well but didn't feel the need to go out again. And yes....effffff these weather people. I've driven to work everyday over the past week and a half....when I could be riding.
