  1. Hi. I've been referred here by the Adam Green. I'm not exactly a Columbus local but I'm looking to get more involved in the car/bike scene and will be in town a lot throughout the season. Currently my main toy is an '08 Buell 1125r. Hoping to get her out on the track this summer. Looking towards a big bore or possibly a low compression rebuild this next winter. Anybody know any local dyno tuners with Buell or tunerpro experience? Lol because I'll need one. Anyways, I'm going to cut the bullshit. Nice to meet you all, here are some pictures http://i1164.photobucket.com/albums/q579/heagachongoose/37973053634a62024d3f70335e922de8_zps68fee450.jpg http://i1164.photobucket.com/albums/q579/heagachongoose/ee80fc71d2d3370e4c48ac7116dfdc68_zps71afd919.jpg http://i1164.photobucket.com/albums/q579/heagachongoose/00E5D934-2514-43D5-9D67-A68FCA3DF59A_zpsdpyamgpm.jpg

  5. Interesting development... Sounds like it might be a good thing. Until this happened I didn't realize just how much land the feds had control of. Nor how badly they were managing it. Seems like they were using it as a personal wealth builder instead of being stewards for the public. I'm thinking it's past time to clip the wings of the self-serving political class.

  11. Hello my name is Mike and I was referred to this site by Brian Rigsby. I currently drive a 02' Subaru Wrx that is midnight blue. My current mods are STI intercooler, AEM cold air intake, RFL bov, APS downpipe, Invidia N1 exhaust, COBB Access Port, Forester Transmission (because we all know how junk the stock ones are on early WRX), front and rear strut bars, and short throw shifter. I think that is all of it! I currently work up in Dublin at the Byers Subaru. I joined the forum to learn and talk to like minded car enthusiasts. Currently looking to get in a new vehicle but cant seem to make my mind up so if any of you guys or gals have any suggestions let me know!! And finally I just want to say thanks for the invite. These are the only images I currently have of my car on my computer but ill take some this weekend and put them up. http://i.imgur.com/zqbAs9C.jpg?1?2980 http://i.imgur.com/KXB3RZp.jpg?1?2077

  12. I attempted a burnout in a parking lot with my front wheel against one of those concrete parking bumpers and didn't grab enough front brake. Dumped the clutch at about 5 grand on a cb750 and went airborne over the concrete parking thing, over a sidewalk and into a brick wall.

  14. agreed. And every kid is different. Like someone else said, this kid may have more experience on a bike than some people on this site... Plus not all 6 year olds are the same size, maturity, etc. My buddy's 6-yr-old is afraid to sit on my bike when it's on the side-stand, and not running. His 4 year old daughter is a crazy one though. She would absolutely not be afraid, and would probably jump off the damn thing if we let her... Assuming they were both tall enough, and both had appropriate riding gear, I would only take his son on a ride. He's got the safer mind-set. He understands the dangers and why it's so important for him to hold on, stay still, and follow instructions. His daughter just isn't wired that way. Not all 6 year olds (or even all 10 or 12 year olds) are. it's a parenting call. Easy for me (or anyone else) to arm-chair quarterback what's appropriate (or inappropriate) for this kid to do, but the reality is that we just don't know him, or enough about the situation to decide how risky it is.

  15. I refer to my current state of life as a"phase II party." In/right after college, I partied hard, often, and late. There was legitimately a time when we would leave the house to go down town at 11:30, and plan on getting to bars around midnight. then we'd close it down, and hopefully go home with someone, getting laid, and avoiding cab fair. Wake up, steal a bowl of lucky charms, and start walking back to find your car (hopefully). Now (especially with the baby here) with a full-time job that requires me to wake up between 5 and 6 every day, I still like to get after it a few times a week, but everything shifts up 6-8 hours. You just day-drink on weekends, or kick off the night with happy-hour at 4:30 on weeknights.. I can still be blitzed by 8:00, and but I waste less time determining who I'm trying to sleep with, and spend more time trying to convince her that our baby girl wants a brother... And I can still wake up at 5:15, shower, and feel pretty good.

  16. I think if people would not record everything they seem to do these days and post it publicly, maybe we could all go about minding our own damn business. We have always done stupid shit, it's just that now there is easily and readily available proof.
