Whenever you lower a bike it's required that you buy a flat bill hat to wear backwards, a designer tank top, white flip flops, white oakleys, a white watch and white book bag to ride with. All that stuff is expensive! LED light kits are optional, but strongly encouraged.

Soooo. im on my way home last night around 8:00. I'm half way through my favorite 2 mile super twisty local road (old Colerain road) and as I come around a bend going approx. 60 mph, I see a fucking huge turkey vulture eating a dead opossum I confirm after the ordeal. So naturally the bird tried to fly away, we make contact, im guessing I broke its neck. I'm so thankful it didn't take me down with it because for a moment I thought for sure I would loose it. Luckily the bike didn't suffer any damage, just obtained a few new feathers and the headlights got turned down and loosened. I guess I should really be happy it wasn't a damn goose or I could have ended up in prison or something lol. Rest in peace Mr./Ms. Scavenger. The Ukrainian "rebels" (the ones who want annexation into Russia) are alleged to be responsible for the shooting. While I doubt the Russian government will condone the act, the driving force behind the rebellion is a sense of Russian patriotism. For obvious and predictable reasons, the Ukrainian government opposes ceding any part of their country to Russia, regardless of what the citizens (or at least a vocal minority?) desire. I agree that the U.S. will need to make a public reaction. I would like it to be "our thoughts and prayers are with the victims. Please take the current conflict in Ukraine into consideration when planning your world travels." I expect that it will be something more like, "The Russian government needs to make it clear to these rebel forces that acts of aggression are not productive steps toward their goal. If the Russian and Ukrainian governments cannot quell such acts, the U.S. will be urging the United Nations to authorize military measures from someone who will." Of course Republicans will call the former "isolationism" and the latter "weak foreign policy," but I don't see why the U.S. needs to stick its neck out here...

This is not good, not at all. Shooting down commercial airliners isn't something I feel the US will will keep out of and it's about to hit the fan.

I own two pair of AGV pants Teluride and Solare. Never crashed in them so can't comment on that. They fit good but you have to buy larger than normal. Seems Italian guys are scrawny nancy boys. Telurides are 3XL Solares are 1XL and I'm not all that big 5' 8" 215 lbs. They are well made.

The 4k mode is a gimmick for sure, but you can down sample to to time lapse. It also takes less memory space than the full time lapse mode. The the other higher rez modes like 1440 and 2.7k are useful for editing down to 1080P at higher quality. FWIW, I researched the hell out of action cams trying to find a bargain and came away with the conclusion that the gopro is king. The Hero 3 Black does the best job at low light, has the most video modes, does the fastest slowmo frame rate, has the best built in audio, has the best bitrate, the most accessories... That Nabi looks pretty cool, especially for $50. ^^LOL. I guess I dont understand the thought-process behind buying one of the most tractable and best-handling 2-wheeled machines to ever roll off a production line, then turn around and start neutering features integral to said scalpel-like handling.

Most of my waving is directed at neighborhood moms.

There is only one rule that must be followed in regards to waving when on a bike. If a little kid waves at you, you wave back. Don't care how much of a badass you think you are.

Look at the Sony version. I have been using one for about 6 months and really like it. The optics are as good or better than GoPro for less moolah.

I wave to everyone! I even waved to a kid riding a moped on the sidewalk lol. I might not get waves back all the time, but, I'm proud of being an owner of a motorcycle so let me share my happiness with everyone on the road lol.
