HUGE THANKS to my team mate Todd today!! had some problems last night and even though he was not racing he still showed up before going to a family function to get me race ready...did not stop there, adjusted brakes multiple times, idle etc. and had bike !00% race ready, all i had to do was get on it and not screw up.
Yep, with the veteran tag, because I have Navy pride. For those that don't know, the Yamaha YZF600R is called a "Thundercat" in European markets, instead of the letter/number designation. And mine is a 2004 Yes, I'm a dork for doing stuff like this... the Vet tag is really to maybe get me out of ticket one day, the tag itself is just to be fun Fun side note... I couldn't order zero-four-c-a-t because zero-four isn't a vanity plate... it's out there somewhere. I had to order the letter "o" then a four. Just can't tell the difference Those that like vanity plates because they're fun... rep it up
Its not for everyone. But I like it, and that is all that matters. Plus, if I get tired of it I can just peel it off. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
Vs. riding more HP than you can legally exercise on U.S. roads just for the fun of it? It's just cosplay for the heck of it, man - different strokes for different folks - no different than dressing up like a pro racer wannabe or a pirate or Ewan McGreggor.
Thanks QuikAccord! That was really fast shipping. So, I've got my OR decals, and I'm getting ready to stick 'em on the bike. Does anyone have pictures of where they've put theirs, so I can pick the best spot? Windshield, tank, top lip of fairings, etc.... Just wondering how it would look in RL, since I've got lots of options and I'm super-picky about these kinds of things.
