  1. Hey all, been 3 years now, I'm finally done with college and back in Tipp City, OH area. I had a little white Ninja 250 last time I met with some of you and I was one hell of a noob rider, but things have changed. I've now got a 2002 Triumph Speed Triple and I've now got some track experience. Hope to see you guys out there!

  2. Did anyone even know this place exists? I've lived in Columbus for over 10 years and have never heard of it. Summit Vision, this is one of the courses. and, trying to not lose my balance This place is crazy! There's another high ropes course, a zip line, an obstacle course, lots of really cool things. So, is this just a fantastic columbus secret? or am I the only one that hasn't heard of this place?

  3. Just about everything imaginable has been said about this case at this point. Brown was running away, brown was charging, brown was surrendering, brown was the cop, brown was going for the gun, brown was kayaking. Let's hope the real investigators can put together the actual events, and determine what happened, and who is responsible.

  4. Boy, so much info keeps coming out, this making that sound incorrect.....but it seems way back near the beginning I remember it being said that while Brown had his hands up, he would not stop but continued advancing toward the officer. I don't remember it being said whether he was walking or running, but he would not stop. If in fact this was after the officer and he had been in an physical altercation, isn't his refusal to obey and stop (and I suppose, get down on the ground) enough justification for the officer to shoot Brown to make him stop advancing?

  7. I keep thinking this says "epichloride" which sounds like a super-freaky, yet sterile speedball.

  10. woo sah. so, welcome to the internet, where butters says mean stuff, explains himself after being called out (I mean, that is practically an apology), then the new guy gets frustrated. DarkRider, send shadyone a message if you haven't already, that will be the best way to contact him personally without dealing with all the internet a-holes on a side note though, offering $5 for a coin you think you would pay $50 for... we're a community here... lowballing people we like will get you typed at with all the fury of the internetz.

  13. So I just got off the phone with my attorney friend in Chicago. I will preface with the fact that he didn't give me any legal information and is not a lawyer in Ohio, nor does he claim to know all Ohio laws... With that said... The website doesn't affect liability in the case of the ride, nor does organizing it. We are merely riding a specific route and asking people to come along with us. We aren't raising any money for anything besides shirts with a non-copyrighted logo and aren't profiting off the shirts from the event. While all this would prevent liability on ourselves/website, he did recommend however, to find like a skydiving website and copy/paste their liability clause just to be 100% transparent about everything and be safe about it. I found a disclaimer that may be useful. It will need to be slightly modified to include that by attending the Epic Ride, you agree to the following terms: You acknowledge that you understand that motorcycle riding and touring is hazardous and may result in serious injury or death. You understand that this activity in which you are voluntarily participating has inherent risks (including death, loss of limb and permanent disability, and damage to or loss of property) that you assume. You certify that you are duly licensed and competent to operate a motorcycle in a safe manner, and the vehicle you will be operating during the ride is in safe and legal operating condition. You are solely responsible to determine the speed and operational characteristics of your motorcycle and your ability as a motorcycle operator while participating in the ride. You hereby agree to expressly and voluntarily accept and assume all risks involved in operating a motorcycle or participating as a motorcycle passenger while participating in the ride. You hereby covenant, as a motorcycle operator or motorcycle passenger, not to sue COMPANY, their owners, agents, employees, officers, directors, managers and representatives for any and all loss or damage including property damage or loss, personal injury, permanent disability and/or death, arising out of my participation in this activity (including but not limited to riding, touring, transportation to and from the activity, and at all lodging and stops).COMPANY makes nowarranty regarding conditions, safety of roadways, weather, lodging or stops, and the rider to assume all risk that the conditions, safety of roadways, weather, lodging or stops are other than what is expected. You understand and agree that COMPANY is acting as my agent only to provide guidance as to routes, and I hereby release and hold harmless COMPANY its owners, agents, assigns and heirs against any and all claims, causes of action, or any other liability of any kind arising from my operation of a motorcycle, or as a motorcycle passenger during my activity of motorcycle riding.
