  3. Hello everyone! My name is Taylor, I'm 24 years old and becoming an Ohio resident soon. I'm currently attending Ferris State University in Michigan for Welding Engineering, I'm currently a Junior in the program and expect to graduate spring of 2017. Because I am a student, my state of residence is wherever my parents reside, and my parents moved to Dayton, Ohio in October. Previously we had lived in Appleton, Wisconsin. Most of my time this summer will be spent working for a small company in Dayton called PDSI (Production Design Services Inc.). While I will only be an intern for the summer (hoping for a long term opportunity after graduation), I will be their only Welding Engineer, so I expect to stay fairly busy. When not busy at work I intend to explore as much of Ohio, Indiana and hopefully Kentucky as possible from the seat of my 2008 Ninja 650r. This is a relatively new bike for me, I got it in June of last year. Previously I was riding a Honda vtx 1300. While the VTX was nice for riding around in the countryside, I hated riding it through town and on the highway. In the roughly month and a half I had last summer to ride my Ninja, I rode 7,000 miles. Some of it was just riding around town, most of it was exploring north eastern Wisconsin and Michigan. One of my other favorite hobbies is shooting my guns. I don't hunt or anything, I just enjoy the sport of hitting my intended target (usually hardened steel plates or clay pigeons). My collection is very diverse and I don't find myself loyal to any one brand or type of firearm. Lately I've been enjoying shooting clay pigeons with my 12 gauge Remington 11-48. I also enjoy shooting my 66% scale IPSC silhouette steel target from 200 to 300 yards with my iron sights on my ar15(although I do have optics I use for close range fun). This weekend I am attending a course for my conceal carry license(I previously had a Wisconsin CCW license). I'm just struggling to choose between my Glock and 1911 for the range portion of it! I'm sure this is an interest that I share with many of you, and I would love to discuss it with you and go shoot sometime! I joined this forum to meet people that share my love for riding. I don't often ride with others, as I am a pretty mellow rider, but I love getting together with a group of close friends and taking off for a day or two. I would love to get together sometime and ride with you guys! I look forward to getting to know some of you and this state! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  5. It is time to shake out the cobwebs from the bike as well as yourselves. We will meet at the NW corner of the Iron Pony Parking Lot at 8:30 and we will depart at 9:00. Plan on being back by 3:00. Please show up with a full tank of gas ready to ride. I will post up the route by this weekend. Looking forward to riding with everyone again and I hope to see more new faces show up this year. All bikes and skill levels are welcome, nobody gets left behind. Ride your own pace, no pressure to keep up with anyone else.

  6. Chatted with a guy in Cali many years ago online who'd built an old CBX1100 6er. And iirc, he cut like 60 pounds out of it, CBR F2(?) shortened front end with a custom triple that brought the rake in, CBR wheels/brakes, cant remember the shock setup. Anyway, spent thousands on it just to cut up the local canyons and Mullholland on something different. This isn't his, but it was very close to this cafe... Love these old renno jobs. "At home" engineering is always cool shit

  7. I spent a lot of time and money building the motor. It's not modern sport bike fast, but it pulls pretty damn hard. Gonna get it on a dyno this spring but I would guess it's putting at least 75 to the wheel. Sounds beastly too.

  13. Mine is a dick. A few weeks ago we started teaching our almost 2.5 year old how to feed to cat to teach her some responsibility and have some fun with chores but. Now whenever the fatass cat thinks he's hungry 2 hours before he eats in the morning he will go to our daughters door and start meowing to try and wake her up get her to feed him. Its it's like the raptors in Jurassic park, constantly learning.

  14. Mine is addicted to plastic caps. The small clear caps that used to come on top of Hersheys syrup. Luckily for him I am addicted to chocolate milk. So he has about 50 caps. He knows where everyone of them are, which is mostly in his food bowl. We put one in the middle of the kitchen each night before bed. He kills them around 3am, then puts it in the food bowl.
