I walked past my salty bike in the garage a half dozen times today. I have an early trip tomorrow and I'd like to take it to work at o-dark thirty, but I'll have to judge the safety of that when I get up at 4. It's going to dip into sub-freezing temps tonight. I'm hoping the strong wind is going to dry out the roads. We'll see.

I have found another good engine up in Toledo and will probably run up there to get it Monday (MLK day) since I am off work so it should be a fairly easy swap and have it up and running again. It will probably be for sale again in the spring, but I'm pulling it off the market for now. Thanks all for the advice & suggestions.

Brandon aka @TRMN8TR builds modified headers for our bikes (he was one of the previous owners of your new daytona) and it will de-cat the bike. Fireballz fo days and you can run dat race gas. I was going to do this before deciding to sell and go a slightly different route. He knows these bikes in and out. As soon as I have your cash in hand @Perception I'll be able to announce my new baby. Look forward to meeting you this weekend.

Another news article feeding "The Sky is Falling" information. If someone is determined to hurt someone or something, they're gonna do it. I hate news, I avoid it at all costs. I'd rather be happily oblivious than worry about shit that might happen to me. As far as the treatment of the Vets. I'm all for whatever the Vet wants. Some of that stuff is not a simple fix. They made great sacrifices to be in that position, and I am forever grateful for them.

All of you and myself are dead. It just hasn't happened yet. And as previously stated, there isn't shit you can do about it. Disease, barfight, vehicle accident, drugs, falling in a sinkhole...who gives a fuck? I smoke cigarettes, drink alcohol, ride motorcycles, and do half a dozen things I shouldn't, and I'll keep doing them. Healthy is a fucking joke. Who the hell wants to be 98 years old and laying in bed dying of nothing? Let's see if I'm here tomorrow. And as far as treatment of any sort for vets, the U.S. Congress needs taken out and shot. Unless any of you run the show the best you can do is treat the vet like a human being, not like a contagious basket case to keep at arm's length.
