  1. Been awhile but we made it through Thanksgiving, family vacay, Christmas and New Years, and a week of my brother being in the hosp, but my FiL helped dad weld the engine mounts and this evening dad and I test fitted the engine and trans. Now dad can drill the holes for the trans mount tomorrow and we can start making more progress hopefully. Still gonna be awhile before it's done but it's getting there.

  2. Hi everyone, Shawn here, used to be a very active a long time ago with Columbus Racing, Race Club, 40roll. List goes on and on lol. Didn’t have a car for a while and life took me other places, but I’m back, and just purchased an 05 Corvette. Only mod is a cia right now, but I eventually of course plan on modding it some more. Interested to see who else is around. I attached some pictures of my new ride and old ones. Let’s be honest, that’s how we remember everyone by what we drive lol. It’s good to be back!

  3. Sold my suburban a few days ago, had a run in with a deer on Christmas Eve and decided it wasn't worth my time to fix it with all the other issues it had going on. Went out and got myself a replacement pimpin ride. 2020 Yukon XL Denali. Rolling in style this year 😜

  4. I finally got a start on the GS500 project. The new garage heater was great - I had to turn it to low to keep from getting too hot and to save propane. The previous owner said he was no electrician but I've never seen wiring this bad! No device brackets were attached, just hanging from the wire that was tied into a ball with a dozen zipties! Pictures are after clipping all the zipties. The new Shorai for the Bandit came today so now I'm free to repurpose the 3yo Battery Tender brand LiFe battery into the GS. I plan to make a shallow box under the seat for the battery and wiring to hide in. I discovered that my Shorai battery came with an amazingly cool feature. They glued a cube of foam rubber to the back of the square terminal nuts to hold the nut next to the hole in the terminal while you're trying to thread the bolt in. F'ING GENUIS!

  5. Couldn’t resist. My thoughts are with all the rain we had recently the salt was pretty much gone from the roads. Fun times. I also love the new door lights I installed.
