  1. Hey im Brian and im from Medina Ohio. I used to own an 02 Cougar that was modded but it just wasnt very fast so i sold it. Im looking to get a 99 or 01 cobra this spring and im looking forward to modding that. I found out about this site on svtpreformance.com and heard some good things. Here are a few pics of my cougar that i sold, its nothing special by any means. http://i1005.photobucket.com/albums/af179/cougarxr1129/cougar_crop.jpg http://i1005.photobucket.com/albums/af179/cougarxr1129/cougar001.jpg http://i1005.photobucket.com/albums/af179/cougarxr1129/cougar006.jpg

  2. I spent two hours chipping away the two-inch-thick solid ice on my driveway just on the chance I might want to get the bike out next weekend when temps get above freezing. On days like this, it's good to recall better times for riding. Fortunately, Accelerate online magazine recently published my little account of a ride down to Kentucky last summer. Story is here if you're interested.

  3. Just a friendly reminder that the state sponsored MSF motorcycle training courses are open for registration starting today. https://www.dps.state.oh.us/MOScheduling/ There are already seats being filled. Get 'em while they are still there!! I took the BRC course a few years back and it was Well worth it. I took the ERC course last year and it was so so. it rained on us the entire day so that may have had something to do with it too. Bill.

  4. I know there isn't a bunch of Dakota guys on this site, maybe just me. I don't know. Maybe someone knows someone looking for the best aftermarket wheel available for the Dakota's. CCW 505A's, 19X10's all the way around. The tires have less than 2,000 miles on them and were $1,300. Rear is 295/35/19 BFgoodrich KDW II's. The front is 285/35/19 Michelin Pilot Sport. The wheels alone are $2,700 plus the tires($1,300), you're looking at $4,000 if you were to buy new. I'm asking $2,000. I can deliver to most of Ohio and Kentucky. I will get better pictures off the truck, once I polish them. Thanks! 12. Thanks for all the kind replies, I’m just here to talk cars with other enthusiasts. As far as the cougar goes it had more than a cold air intake, it actually had an intake manifold and ecu off an svt contour along with bigger injectors and a cat back exhaust but it was still slow. As mentioned above the 2.5l Duratec isn’t very fast unless you throw a lot of boost at it and even then the car will never hook up. As far as the name I didn’t really mean to offend anyone but I am 100 percent sure that I’m going to get a 99 cobra in the spring so it will make sense once I do

  13. Yes it does. Raced I'm assuming a bone stock 5.0 (manual) at trails back in 2008. His 60' was a little soft but he didn't get anywhere, and this was when the car was still bone stock. Had an old codger laugh at my car in his 5.0 with catback(?) at a stop light in middle-of-nowehere, Ohio. He wasn't laughing when my little four banger was holding a half a car in front of him the entire time. I like Foxes, they're one of my favorite bodystyles for the Mustang, but the stock 5.0 motor is a bit underwhelming, especially since most of them have a shit ton of hard miles on them.

  15. 2008 Aprilia Tuono 1000R Dislikes: -Runs kind of hot -Stock seat is not distance friendly -Fuel efficiency is worse than many compact cars when not granny-riding -Almost guaranteed to have connector problems. (Will preemptively fix mine) Likes: -I don't see many on the road -Great power delivery -Love the Rotax V-Twin -Great brakes -Overall great ergos -A great V-twin exhaust note with enough of a twist to know it's different -It's Italian -I got a ridiculous deal on it

  18. I also voted for mid o. I also have enough room for 2 extra bikes if anyone needs help. One on the trailer an one in the back of my truck since I won't need all my camping stuff.
