  1. Hi my name is Seth. I am an ASE Certified Technician. I am not a guy who just has 1 certification claiming to be a "certed" tech. I have 9 ASE's. I went to Ohio Technical College, which directed me in my hybrid wrenching lifestyle. Please dont take the impression of being a tree hugger, lol , it WAS a pretty demanding field. I am 22 yrs old, but dont let the age fool you. I am pretty knowledgeable in my field, but know that there is NO replacement for experience. I have a young son. His name is Bronx Madden, He turned 2 years old the other day. ( August 24th). My cars. I own a 1992 Nissan Sentra SE-R. JDM sr20de+t. It has 10:1 C/R. GT2871rs. Tons of supporting mods, etc etc. Pulled an 11.6 1/4. SLEEPER!!! (bought the car off of a former member of this forum with a blown engine 8 months ago) 1988 Mitsubishi Starion ESI-R. Bought with 48k original miles, now with 63k. Suspension engine and cosmetic mods, etc etc etc I have owned 3 dsm's, and 2 mitsubishi starions, and a jetta VR6. ( not including all the DD's i have owned; hondas trucks etc) I have been into internet forums since early 03. I was 14 haha when I bought my first starion. I believe a LONG time ago i had an account with Columbus Racing. But I had to re-register. So here I am, hope to bring alot of insight to the community, and hope to learn alot at the same time!!! I dont have any pictures of my Sentra se-r ATM. Besides of few shots of the engine as i just got it up and running 6 weeks ago. But ill throw some up soon. I just need cleared to post as i have a friend who is very interested in purchasing a a car soon to get in the scene. http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s239/stariondriver75/pearlquest.jpg http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s239/stariondriver75/MyCar007.jpg -Seth

  2. So now that Riley and Piper have been in their classes for a little while, I figured I'd start a little thread on their learning progress. This isn't everything they know, but mostly the stuff they're really really good at so far and I could make a video of easily (they're real good at come when called as well, but it was dark out, lol). There's still stuff they're working on to perfect, and of course always learning new things as well. A lot of it is just basic stuff, but it's all the fundamental building blocks for things ahead, and they certainly ain't no dummies! For those that remember me mentioning it, I have future aspirations of getting Riley and Piper certified as therapy dogs once they're old enough, as long as I can get them over their social anxiety issues (they're getting much better with that though) An FYI this was all done with positive reinforcement training.... I never lay a hand on them (some people apparently think beating your dog into submission is how you 'train' them....ugh). Everything is voice commands, hand signals, body language and tone, and treats.... pretty simple stuff really, and it works! The sit & wait for their food.... I don't even have to say a word anymore, as they've been doing it every time since they were 11 weeks old This was at 11 weeks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=macwhsg5yl4 Now at 10 months.... don't even have to say anything Also, later in the vid, the treats I'm using are soft chewy Salmon treats.... the good stuff made with real salmon, not dry crunchy treats. They're extremely pungent with a very strong fishy smell, which the dogs absolutely LOVE. More or less equivalent to putting a piece of raw meat in front of them... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cT1cmwoo6qw Then this was from a couple days ago.... I let them out in the front yard to do their business one at a time (off leash, non fenced yard). I let them out in the exact same order every single time... Piper first, then Piggy, then Riley. I've been using the "wait" command because I don't want them all rushing out the door at once (plus I use this command elsewhere as well), so 2 of them wait, one goes out, and they have to wait for that one to come back in before the next one goes out. They've got it down so well, that when I say "lets go outside", they'll run over to the front door and, starting with the side of the door that opens, will line up side by side in the exact order that they go out in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIOdnUdeWko That's all I have for this weeks doggy boot camp.... I'll update later on as they learn new things

  4. Wow... Really... You honestly believe that a good coach is a faster coach? That lap times are the way to recognize quality coaching. I'll let you know a pretty famous name in the MX industry that has a school that is regarded as one of the best available. It is run by the Milsaps and the head coaching person is none other than Momma Milsaps. She's never won an AMA National, never raced in an AMA MX or SX event and has never competed in any form of national level off road or similar. Yet, she is one of the best in the industry. Under your mentality, she'd absolutely suck at coaching. I also wouldn't be bragging as far as "fast" if they run 1:03s. That's fast and that is going great, but if they are being judged as to how great they are by their lap times only, you need to compare that to Jeff, Justin, Keith, etc. All are into the 58s and can do so at any time. I know none of the NESBA riders that have competed and done such a thing. Maybe a one off here and there or their so called "Quest" racers that show at times, but the reality is that majority of their coaches are just normal, average riders like anywhere else. I understand you have a hard on for NESBA and promote as much as you can, but the reality is simple. Lap times don't mean shit. Good coaching most often times is found from NON racers. Also, what was discussed before is still a basis of concern. If they go out for 30 minutes, get 15 minutes rest and back out again, that is too little rest and not near enough classroom knowledge. The customer needs to be looked at in a learning aspect not so much about how much time on track, but the quality of that track time. If I were an advanced rider and going to this thing? Sure. 45 minutes of every hour I am on track? AWESOME! But again, very unlikely most people can handle that stress. Thus, $280 is a big hit for what you are getting. But, if it is solely lap times you base who you want coaching you, call Moto Series and ask for Justin Neyra to help you. He went faster than any of the WERA guys did at their last event and easily would have been into 57s had we had better and new tires... But hey, if you want my suggestion, don't EVER let that be a sole basis of who teaches or instructs you. It's WAAAAAAY deeper than that.

  9. if you own a harley and a sport bike and actually ride both and rack miles up does the world implode? when they are in the garage alone together do they argue back and forth of which one is better, or do they make sweet sweet interacial bike love.. spewing fluids all over like a bukkaki porno. maybe thats why alot of harleys leak, maybe its not a leak but a wet dream of one night with a jap, or a sweet sweet sexy little euro bike

  10. Aren't you super fat? I bet you wish youd thought of this ingenious scam. I dont want to sit at a table big enough to park a god damn big rig in. If this chode wins this lawsuit I'm going to puke. America is turning into a country that caters to the weak and feeds the fucking fatties. They shouldn't have to make one god damn change to the size of the already enormous seat. This is the same cockfuck that my taxes will go to when obama care hits because all those god damn sliders are gonna turn his fat fucking heart in a lump of fucking concrete. This shit drives me absolutely fucking insane.

  11. while I know a fair amount transmissions im far from an expert, although im sure there are some on here, hence why I asked. That And I dont care if I blow up the trans, the plan from the start was to put a manual in it. I really just want to know what damage is possibly being done (excessive heat is the only thing I can think of) and if a synthetic fluid may be a better way to go?
