  1. I was directed to the site by a contractor working on our building. My Name is Austin and I am from Zanesville. I own a 2009 Pontiac G8. Currently is headers, exhaust, tune, intake, catch can, springs, struts, sway bars, trans cooler, and some mild appearance changes (GXP front bumper and rear diffuser). Car currently makes 354/364 on a Superflow. Will be cammed, and stalled come spring with full supporting mods. Along with a nice set of drag radials. Looking to hit up a few 1/4 miles tracks and road course in the coming year along with at least one road rally. http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r39/aussiek2000/Pontiac/IMG_2458.jpg http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r39/aussiek2000/Pontiac/IMG_2448.jpg http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r39/aussiek2000/Pontiac/IMG_2432.jpg http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r39/aussiek2000/Pontiac/IMG_2431.jpg On the way back from LS fest http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r39/aussiek2000/Pontiac/10634431_10202580258015245_752543462_n.jpg On the way to LS fest http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r39/aussiek2000/Pontiac/10624775_10154702319615232_3253359161652972436_n.jpg

  3. No one said it blows up.. we said it causes more wear and tear.. and it could let in bigger particles that can harm a street motor that deals with more dust. Dirt grim and debris. . Moving on to your post why don't you hear? Because 90% of people are smart enough to get the street filter version of them and not the race filter.. plus typically the race filter isn't just drop in as a street filter is... it needs a proper tune as well. Educate yourself before spouting forum "knowledge"

  4. Urban, glad you were ok, & just a few bike scratches. Been there done that, but in my case, yep, a few scratches to the bike, but also first time = blown left leg hamstring, second time = broken rib....both on trips, both dropped at a stop. Finding out what your bike limitations are, and how it handles in the tight curvy stuff, is part of the fun in getting out there, but can sometimes bite you. Glad you had a good time, & hope you'll come down and join us again.

  5. Last spring I made a custom sealed box for a 8" Solobaric L5 running a 450 Watt amp. I built the box to replace my center front seat in my F250. I used the factory seat supports and the factory cloth over 2 inch foam. need to get some pictures but if you didnt know it was there youd never find it. Turned out just as I had planned.

  6. By the way, your video is complete bullshit scare mongering. It's video from August, he's dropping off absentee ballots from a primary months ago. Perfectly legal.

  7. The difference between a non citizen having an ID and being able to vote, is that the non-citizen can't register. Just like a felon. All an ID does is prove who you are. If you can't provide the documentation to prove that you are a citizen, then why should you be able to cast a vote as a citizen? Every American citizen has the right to vote, correct. However, the person needs to be able to prove that they are a citizen. In a country that has so many non-citizens, felons, illegals, etc. a system should be in place to guarantee that only Americans vote. This is not a "poll-tax". People should have identification. People need to take responsibility for themselves.

  8. First off I started this here because I know it will end up here... But I was lurking on NASIOC, I joined there to read and learn more about Subaru's, and I noticed someone bought a car from Japan and had it imported. My question is how hard is it to do this and what extra costs this would involve? I have been looking for a 96-2000/2001 gc8 body style impreza. Haven't had any luck the past couple years, that were in my price range anyway. The plan is after the wife graduates and gets a job we are going to look for one and give the lincoln to her mom because they're car is about to fall apart and they aren't able to afford to fix it. With them watching our kids sometimes we want them to have a safe car. Anyway, I went to the link the guy provided and was just looking and found this car among a few others http://www.goo-net-exchange.com/usedcars/SUBARU/IMPREZA/700115714820130704001/index.html Other than having to learn RHD, what complications could I run into?

  11. I'm Doug, and I live in Heath,Ohio (Go to Newark, turn south). I am currently employed as Technical Support Engineer for a small computer firm, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise. I drive a Dodge minivan, but CRUISE (i.e. "style and profile) in a 2013 C6 Vette (Coupe 1LT). My Little Monster doesn't do cloudy or wet days. I've probably already voided my warranty, but, hey, it's a Vette and is meant to be personalized. So far, I have these mods: Body Work (Installed/Paint by Abe’s Body Shop): Supervettes WaterFall Extreme Hood. (Installed/Paint by Abe’s Body Shop) Body Kit - LOMA GT2 Body Kit OEM Corvette Z06 Bumper & Installation Kit PFADT Tow Hooks (Rear) Wheels & Tires: Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 ZP (Zero Pressure) Front: P285/30ZR19 Rear: P335/30ZR20 Suspension: LG MOtorsports GT2 Heavy Sway Bars w/QUiet Endlinks EIBACH MultiPro R2 Coilover Shocks. ENGINE: Pfadt Tri-Y Long Tube Headers w/cat backs Pfadt PCM Tune Next mods will be: Breathless Performance Roll Bar (SCCA Approved) Caravaggio Daytona Race Seats BRAKES: Either Brembo or Baer Pro+ Front/Rear Aeromotion R Series Dynamic Wing Edelbrock E-Series Supercharger (599HP) Dry Sump Oiling System On paper, I should be about 530+/-HP, but could be wrong. Need to get to a dyno and check. I found out about this site while reading LS1Tech doing some research. I am looking for anything racing or any other car events in the area. While I've not yet had my car on the track, I'm about to start with some SCCA Autocross events and some HPDE on some road courses. I caught the road course bug after attending the Ron Fellows Driving School 6 months after buying my Vette. It was definitely a Bucket List vacation and changed my views on driving. Pics of my ride can be seen here.
