  1. In all seriousness, why get your knickers in a twist about humor in a thread? Who cares? Do threads that you start have special rules we're not aware of? Are you new here? Btw, I will proudly display the award, but I don't eat Hot Pockets. I find the ham notes to be overpowering, while the synthetic-cheese-aromatics underwhelm the palate.

  3. So, in case you're new to the Hangout, it's an office and attached garage space on the south side of Delaware which becomes a cold-weather alternative to the Sawmill/Polaris parking lot meets. All CR members are welcome. In a room which serves as a free clinic two days a month, there's Foosball, a 55" screen TV with XB360 ready to go, Forza 4 with wheel/pedal simulator setups, Forza Horizon. http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/lineup2.jpg There is an adjacent office for people to get away from the noise, if they so desire. http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/office.jpg There is also a heated shop area for work on your car, but only basic tools available and no lifts. http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/hangout/012.jpg Please do not bring alcohol or drugs on the premises. A good variety of non-alcoholic drinks are provided free. You are welcome to bring food along or order pizza for delivery. You're welcome to poke around my cars, but don't expect a museum experience. If a car or motorcycle is covered, then it is not mine; please be respectful and don't snoop. Stay as late as you want. Restrooms are on-site. Large bay windows allow you to keep an eye on your car from the office and waiting room. The front door will open at 10:00 p.m. The hangout is smoke-free, but you can smoke right outside the front door and use the smokers' station. Please do not throw butts in the parking lot or in the shrubbery. You can use e-cigs in the garage but not in the offices. In case you haven't been there, here are directions: Howald Industrial Park 320 London Road, Suite 101 (in Building 100, first building on left as you enter the park) Delaware, Ohio (across from the intersection of London Road & Liberty Road) the place is 14 miles north of Home Depot/Sawmill it is 1.5 miles from the large Jegs Warehouse at Route 42 and London Road If you are coming from Columbus, it's easy to just go north on US 23 to the first Delaware exit (South Sandusky Street), exit to the left but turn right on Sandusky St., then go about a mile and turn left onto London Road at the McDonalds. The place will be on your right just after the Delco Drive Through. If you are coming from Sawmill, go directly north on Sawmill Road until it ends at the Hyatts Road Roundabout. Turn right (east) on Hyatts Road, go into the village of Hyatts, turn left (north) on Liberty Road. Liberty road dead ends at the industrial park (turn left onto London Road, then immediately right, into the park). Questions/problems: Text me at 740-405-5565. I hope to see you Saturday night.

  9. You are a lot more patient than I. At the point of call number 3 I would of filed the complaint and asked for a $$ for repairs. At this point I would just contact BBB. Good luck. Oh, just ask Hellmutt how patient I am with contractors . We had a company fix our leaky basement, they took 5k off the price to start. I actually called and complained the first day they were on the job, they were on point after that. I have little woman syndrome, therefore I am loud.

  12. okay, just gotta bitch(and give y'all a good laugh)... Before buying this house, the seller and us agreed to split the cost of a new roof. The roofing company hung two of the gutters back incorrectly, causing damage to the siding. My wife spent 6 months trying to get the roofing company to come fix the gutters(consistently receiving the run around). She passed it off to me, and they finally came out and re-hung one of the gutters. We hit a 4 month period of no freaking rain, and didn't know if it was fixed. Then the heavens split open, and animals headed two-by-two towards a large boat..... One of the gutters was still hung wrong. I spent another 4 months trying to get them to come out and fix it. They finally sent someone from "Seamless Gutters" and the guy did a bang up job. Cleaned the gutters out, hauled off the mess, and was on time and out the door in an hour. Now the siding is messed up, and I called the roofing company, and they sent a guy to take measurements and photos to get me on the schedule. I waited, and called for 4 months trying to get a status. They lost my pics and measurements. Sent out guy #2 to take photos and measurements.... Spent another 14 months leaving phone messages to get the siding repaired. yes, 14 MONTHS!!!! Only when I threatened to "File a complaint with the BBB, and write up my experience on every social media site on the web" did I get a response. The company owner told me that they don't remove gutters when they replace a roof. Why didn't this a$$-hat say that two freaking years ago??? He finally said they'd fix the siding in the two spots for $300. Now after the dude cancelled on me last week(another day off that came from my time off), they finally showed up at 1100, worked for an hour, took a 3 hour lunch, they don't have all the materials, the siding they bought doesn't match, and they damaged more siding putting in the "patch" and don't have authorization to replace any larger area. ....and will be back tomorrow.....so another vacation day down the toilet. At what point do I lose my temper and go all Bufard Pusser on their asses, or am I over reacting? and yes, this place is cheaper than therapy.

  13. Looking for new car for Mrs. ec_E92 and we're all over the place. Actually she has her ideas and I veto most of them. We've found common ground on 08-10 Cayenne GTS 6MT's so I can tow track car and actually enjoy driving her rig on winter trips. Anyone have any input on these? Also in the mix are slightly more budget conscious options: Audi Q5 (3.2 or 2.0T, not bad but 4400# towing is on the low limit) Audi B7 RS4 (wild card as a friend is selling hers and I know full service history and I am fully aware of DI carbon buildup and DRC issues) Audi B8 S4 (more expensive than RS4 and I'd rather have RS4 - I think) Can you tell she likes Audi's?? If no SUV must be RWD/AWD and MT and E90 M3 would just be a ridiculous stable. Right now she's driving my E92 M3 and I think she's balking so she can keep driving it. While I rattle my bones in my E36 M3 commuting every day.
