  5. Or you just run out of gas and end up on the side of the track

  6. Agreed, and I am definitely looking forward to meeting some of you guys that don't ride with us on the street that often. I've also accepted that I will most likely learn more in one track day than I have in 10 years of riding lol. Spring can't come soon enough.

  7. if you're in a serious bind as far as transporting the bike, I would try to help you out for the cost of gas. Decide where you need the bike to go, and let everyone know where you're at. I'm sure someone will help you out. I've brought my trailer to work several times to pick my bike up from Anderson Door Racing headquarters on my way home from work

  9. alright, as promised. I spend a ton of time with my little man. It has changed my life 100%. My wife works insane hours. I USED to wrench in the garage endlessly, all winter long. In the summer, i did track days , and rode a lot. Every day practically. Now, I am Mr. Mom while my wife is at work. My mother in law watchs him while I'm at work. I had a very very tough time with this in the beginning. Now, i wouldn't change it for the world. I love the time i get to spend with him. I still get to wrench, just not as often. its therapy for me, and I appreciate that time more than ever. As for riding, I'm still riding a bit, but my interests have changed from track days, to kart track riding and trail riding. I have learned to appreciate the healing power of some throttle therapy more than ever, just at a slower pace. Some guys give up riding once they have kids. I feel thats a bit nuts, to take something I've done my whole life and just give it up. its a part of me, its made me who i am. I want my son to know the "real" me. not a guy who used to ride motorcycles. As he gets older, i hope he takes an interest, and wants to go ride trails, and kart track or whatever we decide to ride. I wouldn't feel guilty about going riding. If your logging 50k a year, yes i may say you need a reality check. But the sunday ride, or weekend trip, don't stress. You need that personal time for yourself.

  10. Getting bumped early from Novice somewhat defeats the purpose. Novice is a step by step process up to the last two sessions where you get to go on your own. The first couple sessions help coaches to get you in the right sub group within Novice and then work on skills the next couple. Finally you have a lead follow session to get a last look at your lines and BP before having open track the last 2 sessions. If you need Novice and start in Novice finish the day in it instead of bumping early.

  11. Defiantly make sure there's no permanent blood splots on the bottoms of the drivers seat. Thats all i have.

  12. Fair enough. Maybe next time. "High" pricing is always somewhat of an objective statement. I think a better statement might be that it was just more than what YOU felt a particular bike was worth. Endless variables when looking at a used bike versus buying new. Every situation is unique to it's own and I welcome comparative pricing on anything we sale. Just need to know what it takes to earn your business. It's not always going to work out, just how it goes.
