  1. They announced friday That they'd be closing the plant in a year and a half so I figured on not coming in today. Gonna be 50 or so. Anyone in neo up for a light ride? Wherever it feels right...

  2. Spikes happen. If you knew dick about diabetes you'd know that your bg will spike even in non diabetics. Spikes trigger the pancreas to produce insulin and then bg goes down to normal in a non diabetic. Hour to hour or even day to day bg numbers aren't that important. What's important is the hba1c. The amount of glucose that builds up on your hemoglobin over the 3 month lifespan. See, it's not spikes that cause damage, it's chronic hba1c percentage above 7. That's what causes nerve, eye, kidney and arterial damage.

  5. I, Zx2guy19, stand before you all to admit defeat. Impulse buy, 100%. Absolutely love the car- a serious piece of machine for a 30 mile round trip commute. Unfortunately, it's just that. With my 240 coming back to life, I am second guessing my decision to have such a high HP machine for a daily driver. I am getting goat raped on gas (premium) and driving the manual in traffic still sucks (my Accord I traded in was also a manual). I can rarely open the car up and just don't think I need it as a DD. That said, I am going to keep the car until I can find an avenue to cut my losses with grace and try to pick up an A4- still a fun, luxurious car but about 8k less than the S4 and better gas mileage, cheaper insurance, etc. As a disclaimer: this truly has nothing to do with money (not that anyone will believe me), but really just a need for a high HP DD vs. a want. Again, you all win.

  6. To get a stamp you need the serial number of whatever it is, so it needs to be bought and paid for. The first step is buying the nfa item, then shipping it to a local fll dealer with a class 3 licence, then fill out the form 4 paperwork (either as individual or trust) and have the ffl holder fill out their portion, and finally mail it in with $200 in check or MO. Once the stamp comes in, you can then legally take possesion of the nfa item. Read through the From 4 paperwork to understand what you need, its pretty simple. I just used quicken willmaker for the trust. I did hear from a lawyer friend that a trust is not technically created until there is something in the schedule a, so my first item is just a $2 bill with the serial number. That way I could send the ATF a schedule a for the first nfa item I got.

  7. Boom! Can I get some +Rep? I would not know what to do with it, but I feel like I need more of it? Oddly, like the theme of this thread.
