    Are you LOST?

Ya, I thought it was funny when he said he did not know if he was a good guy or a bad guy
  3. I understand how you feel and this cop will be sent up the river. Whitey is right though, keep your hands visible at all times, if you get pulled over keep your hands on the wheel you will see that the cop will appriciate that, I mean he has a family too and there are alot of crazy's out there. The only thing I am a little confused about is being an ex MP myself well before the CCW laws I would actually feel more comfortable seeing that someone has a CCW when running the plate. I have not talked to any cops about this, but I would think that someone with a CCW would be less of a threat.
  4. Nice seeing you too Pratt:) Ya, we have to do that again Monday!

  5. Supposed to rain the rest of the week.. I may have to head out there tonight
  6. I purchased my PC for my Hayabusa from these guy's and they did insall a map for my yoshi exhaust and after marker air cleaner and the map worked fine.
  7. Just ignore it, I mean, it's not like you are going to post the fact that you lied to the BMV on the internet... Wait, Oh Shit..
  8. If you were looking at used harley's the same year as your mean streak, then that would mean that the harley held it's value at 4x because the cost of a new bike would not be 4x the cost. If you look at kawasaki.com look at bikes that would compare to the road king, prices are not 4x. 2010 Nomad $15,100 2010 Road King $16,900
  9. That is a great bike, most people would think so.
  10. I loved my Busa too, I have as much brand loyalty toward Suzuki as I do H-D that is just because it's what I like. I have never seen a sales person tlak to a customer like this though talking about the brand etc. I just like the idea of being able to ride several hundred miles and be comfortable, that is why I have a Road King. I do however have to disagree with people that say HD does not make a quality product. When working on my Busa I have broken several bolts, stripped threads, replaced bent washers etc, this just does not happen often on a HD simply because the product is better quality, you are not going to break the head off a bolt on a harley from turning it too hard. Look at the quality of the chrome.. Can you really state a case that the chrome on a Honda is better than HD? You can look at a brand new Honda in the showroom and tell simply by looking at the chrome, HD is of better quality. For some reason brand loyalty is fine, unless it's Harley or Apple.
  11. I would not cut any corners on your first service, it's never "just and oil change and look things over" It's going over alot of your bolts with a torque wrench, adjusting the chain maybe changing differential oil. Adjusting your clutch, making sure your brakes are wearing the way they should etc. If you don't trust your dealer take it to Mid-Ohio
  12. The first 3 years of this law in Ohio were confusing. When I took my class the first year it was available the law said that if stopped while driving you had to have your gun on the seat or visible somewhere even if it's on your person. This meant that you could have it concelaled, but if you were stopped it had to be visible. God help you if you get pulled over and go to put it on the seat, or even move your shirt to make it visible, if you don't get shot it's a 4th degree felony, and they know you have a CCL before they get out of the sqad car anyway. The law was stupid. The laws for riding a MC and carrying were very unclear too we were told the only way you can carry on a MC without clearly breaking a law was to keep the gun visible, but in that case it was on your person AND you were drawing attention to it, thus you could freak somebody out and "cause panic" and that is against the law too, so I did not carry a-lot. If I knew I was going somewhere and felt I needed to carry I just hoped for the best. The recent change in the law say's to keep your gun on your person and you can keep it concealed. Keep your hands on the wheel and tell the cop you have a CCL and tell him you are carrying. He already assumes you are. Yes, that's I have a CCL officer, not to be confused with I have a gun officer!
  13. The law when riding was not very clear, so I did not carry until the laws changed last year. I just carry like I normally would, the glock is not going to fire unless someone fires it.
  14. Bah... Well, thats cool.. It's that time of year:)
