  1. read this thread when it comes time for wet sanding the clear coat and polishing that baby to a show room shine http://www.ohio-riders.net/showthread.php?t=20915
  2. adhesion promoter only needs to be used if there are areas of bare plastic before you prime. The promoter should have been done before primer anyway. I would personally do 2-3 real good coats of primer with wet sanding before you lay down the color.
  3. Hey Brooks, fyi...the 99-00 CBR F4 should be the same as F4i so you can update your list
  4. Browsing the web and came across this. http://www.oppracing.com/products/265-brisk-sparkplugs/ 1.5 hp for a 600, 2 hp for a 750, 3 hp for a 1000, and up to 5 hp on a ZX-14? Personally, I am not sure how a spark plug alone can give you more hp. I know there have been statements made like this for cars, specifically the E3 plugs. Has anyone ever used these before, or heard these sort of claims? FTR, I am not loking to replace mine, as I just installed new NGK Iridiums not too long ago. Not wanting to turn this into a "what plug is the best" thread either. Just found it interesting that they claim increased hp.
  5. Now thats funny right there! Dude you need pilot power 2ct man. Those tires make anyone fast. I bet Im faster than you, haha
  6. Still clear here in Troy.... I most likely wont be going. My dad is comming over and I have to keep an eye on my dog and make sure he doesnt eat his stiches out after he got his balls chopped off today
  7. Calling for rain/thunderstorms possibly hail here in Troy around 3. It was starting to cloud up but the sun is poking thru now. 60% chance rain. I just got done cleaning my bike from getting caught in rain 2 Sundays ago. Not a fun task
  8. Where was the orange and black color scheme?
  9. The only acknowledgement I get from cages are from the rednecks yelling "do a wheelie"
  10. oh snap.... What's with the disclaimer at the bottom?
  11. Funny. I was thinking the same thing. I was like "Oh no, Nick is going to be pissed that someone is planning earlier rides w/o his approval" I cant make earlier rides anyway since I am about 40 minutes away, and I have to do the pre-ride cleaning beofre I pull out of the driveway
  12. I would love to here a response from the Radio guy
  13. You went all the way up to Troy when you could have gone to southside or middletown? I know both places dont have a great reputation as far as parts and service go...... You should check with Dustin. Much cheaper than any dealer. http://www.ohio-riders.net/showthread.php?t=26655
  14. Sadly, YES It was about as bad at the Great Depression I really just wanted to be a post whore and bump my post count, lol
  15. Yo Nick, That Harley rider sounds exactly like the one I was telling you about when I was going back to Troy with D-man. Except you forgot to mention the fact about him wearing flip-flops. A lot of the HArley riders you will see at Jackass Flatts like to get high and ride home. Harley riders need a negative stereotype.... Good write up though. They will probably mention you letter on tomorrow's show
  16. I made it a point to win top poster of the month one time. I think it was November 08 or sometime around there. got something like 1060 posts, but that was long before that dude came. It takes too much time and effort to be top poster. I was on OR ALL DAY at work and most of my time at home was spent too. Sadly, I never got credit for all those posts once the site crashed
  17. Welcome. My dad lives in Greenville and I am over there every once in a while, but I dont ride the bike over because its a boring trip through the corn fields from Troy
  18. Two Bros FTW. Suck it up and save for the PC
  19. I have the same problem. except mine is off -5 at highway speed. Dustin set it 3 times for me when I got it. They are JUNK. Get the one that 12oclocker makes
  20. Hey Nick, If we were to do the 227 rt, we should take 10 to 22 ans skipp the last half of 10 and a couple other routes. we would miss 1565 or what ever it was, but then we would have time to hit 227
  21. If Dustin cant help you, I might be able to see if the puller from the Polairs shop will work. It has a couple different patterns for different flywheels. Also, My grandpa has a Lifan motorcycle which he bought from a cousin of his that owns a Lifan/Yamaha/Kawi/Polaris dealership in Iowa. You could try giving him a call if nothing else works. The owners name is Duke. The website doesnt list Lifan, but they do sell and service them. http://www.dukescycles.com/www/index.php
